Read a recent interview with TW MD. He said the life of the mine is about 3.5 years. Like that how to sustain continuous profitablity?

the SQM quota increase was in Jan and started lithium mining stocks to downtrend. The Albemarle quota increase approval is quite recent news. In any case, any one speculating on Alliance should be aware that the demand/supply dynamics have changed. It really depends at this stage if alliance is able to start production smoothly and ramp up as much as possible before the Chilean miners also ramp up their production and cause the lithium price to dip.
China has put in policy to convert to EV in the future, but how fast their local companies can ramp up EV production such that the demand will exceed increase supply from Chile and other major producers is another question. As typical with all mining cycles, there is always a boom period in prices encouraging big investments into mining that particular resource, this usually results in oversupply combined with cooling in market demand for that particular commodity. A good example would be the recent iron ore boom few years back. Price went from $180+/t down to $60-$70 range. A similar situation will likely transpire for lithium as it is not an especially rare mineral.

thanks bro for the link to the news. The report mentioned Ball Hill in New South Wales ??, I hope they are refering to the AM mine at Ball Hill in WA. I hope it is just the writer getting the Australia states name wrong. Tawana CEO Mark Calderwood mentioned the 10,000 tonnes shipment in end April when he was interviewed by Australia TV Channel News a few days ago. Mark also mentioned the current cost of US$550 per tonne reducing to $440 per tonne in 2019. They sell for $880 per tonne. As AM shareholder, getting all the mine operational update thru Tawana makes feel like AM' s management is ' so behind the scene'

The CEO didnt disclose his deal with Mr lim regarding the 7m... and then the share transaction....further with the interest payment of 7m... then another 5m came.again....its like never ending....trust have been lost...also it is tawana that found the lithium for alliance ... the CEO just got lucky..

Singaporeans like to think too much... the reasons already listed in the annc.... the boss words cannot be trusted la.... but i trust tawana... but tawana in asx so difficult to buy and expensive .... singapore cheaper so its best to load alliance....
The biggest SSH is burwill and they have been adding shares in alliance....
Its like back in 2010 everyone started to use apple and no one actually thought of buying the share....
Every car makers is switching to EV and u still doubt it? China are buying lithium miners... and the recent deal is AJM annc on few days ago... china SSH is discussing with AJM to take a controlling stake in AJM...these guys know the demand and recently lithium price rise again in china after CNY break...
Oil giant should think of participating the EV revolution.... can they change their pump into super fast charging station? Stop killing earth...
Just wait for the coming resource upgrade....
