Isn' t it a concern that revenue from the bread and butter Singapore ops (which contributed the bulk of the net profits traditionally) has decreased? Q2 is their best quarter because of the Chinese New Year. Overseas contributions may help to offset the short fall from next year onwards but the next 2 quarters may be tough.
" Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Group expects to continue to grow its business and remain profitable for FY2017."

Based on their latest filing,
Jumbo P/B = 7 P/E = 25
Kimly P/B = 8 P/E = 23
Both quite comparable now. Either both go up or both stagnant.

If you read the report, you will see as net profit is increased by 3% compare to 2016, not 0.3%.

JUMBO Group' s second-quarter net profit crept up 0.3 per cent to S$5.8 million from the preceding year, the group said in a Singapore Exchange filing on Friday evening.
For the three months ended March 31, revenue dipped 0.6 per cent to S$39.4 million from the previous year. The drop in revenue was mainly due to a decline in revenue from its Singapore operations and was partially offset by a rise in revenue from its Shanghai operations, it said.
The group also announced that Ron Sim Chye Hock has been appointed as the non-executive director of the company with effect from Friday.
Earnings per share for the quarter came in at flat at 0.9 Singapore cents. Net asset value per share dipped to 9.7 Singapore cents as at March 31, from 10.1 Singapore cents six months ago.
A tax-exempt (one-tier) interim cash dividend of 0.50 Singapore cents per share for Q2 FY2017 was declared.
Jumbo Group shares closed S$0.02 or 2.985 per cent lower at S$0.65 on Friday.
Their expansion in Vietnam will kick in in the second half of 2017 too.
The first Jumbo Seafood restaurant in Vietnam is expected to open in Ho Chi Minh City in the middle of 2017, and there are also plans to open two other outlets, in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, over the next two years.
Pretty decent results.

I' m jeeping next week. It has dropped more than 18% since its recent peak. Be greedy when others are fearful. It is cheaper than the price ron sim bought which is $0.665. Dyodd. This company is still growing! At a fast rate!

Jumbo always suffer sell down prior to results announcement. Results are quite decent though.

Very strange, everyone chase when time is at all time high. Nobody buys when the volume is low.... I might jeep some soon
Buy when no one is interested, not when the stock is hot. This stock has been sleeping for a while, which in a way is good, cos it leaves room for a big run-up when market starts to see that the overseas expansion is successful.
