Burwill (00024) to form lithium concentrates processing JV


Burwill Holdings (00024) said it entered into the

joint venture contract with Jiangxi Jiangte Mining Development Co., Ltd. for the formation

of a joint venture company at Yichun, Jiangxi Province, China.

The JV will be held as to 50% by Burwill and 50% by Jiangte Mining. The JV will be

established as a limited liability company with registered capital of Rmb80 million which

will be contributed by Burwill and Jiangte Mining in proportion to their respective

shareholdings in the JV.

The JV will principally engage in the processing of lithium concentrates and sales of

lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide. Lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide are

fundamental material for producing lithium battery. The JV Company plans to establish

production lines with annual production scale of up to 10,000 tons of lithium carbonate

and 5,000 tons of lithium hydroxide and schedules to have trial production in March 2018.

Jiangte Mining is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangxi Special Electric Motor Co., Ltd.

(JSMC), a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with stock code 002176. JSMC is a

veteran special electric motor manufacturing company and a national high-tech enterprise,

and has been actively participating in the development of new energy - lithium battery

industry in recent years.

* My guess is : the Bald Hill Project that covers 590 sq km about the size of Singapore have more lithium rich deposits than they thought more commercially viable lithium rich sites may already have been discovered and found . This may explain why Burwill stock up more than 20% after taking a stake in AMAL.

** before 24 Oct, i dont know how they do it, important thing is they will do it: to make the stock price rise up to 50 cts a share . Why they doing it . The compelling reason for doing so very obvious isn't it .

Most likely price rise possibly due to :
1. New announcements of new deposits sites (rich in lithium) found
2. New placement of shares at higher price (40 to 50 cts ?) to Burwill partner Jiangte Group.

It covers 59 000 ha , or 590 sq km (about the size of Singapore) I think AMAL have nof revealed its Ace Card . What is the Ace Card ? My guess is more or less they may have found high lithium deposits not just in 1 or 2 sites, but could be 3, 4, 5 rich lithium deposits sites. Remember, the Bald Hill covers 590 sq km . Recently, one mining company paid about $ 290 mil for the mining rights to a project that covers only 1/6 of the area of the Bald Hill project, that is about 95 sq km. Hence, the rise in Burwill stock price as they are buying into AMAL with more lithium deposits than they think of. Remember that region is rich in both tantalum and lithium deposits. So 590 sq km I think there may be more good news coming up with more deposits sites being explored and found. Or , they may have even discovered them already and preparing for the right timings to disclose them .

A lot of reverse psychology in sharejunction. I dont know but I am vested in this myself. Though I cant say much for the short term but in the longer term this company seems to be doing okay.
