Have a good collection of the rights, once in a lifetime opportunity, glad I was able to participate.    it' ll be interesting to see how much the warrants will be priced at.    If cheap, I may load up again.

Today is the last day of trading nil rights.

Strange that the nil rights are still   in green, as compared to the mother' s share, although mother' s share is trading at  a discount.
Maybe ppl are willing to pay a premium for the nil rights to get the warrants? Tigtig, are u still buying the nil rights ?

Based on current mother' s share and nil rights   of 9cents and 4.5cents resply, can I assume, theoretically, the warrants shd be worth 1 cent ?

For me, it' s the last day to buy, which I think is Wednesday.  For those selling the R, it' s the last day to sell too I think, if my guess is correct.  Means no buyer on Thursday & Fri, and after that the R lapses.    Correct me if I am wrong.

Any idea when is the last day to buy the R, as the closing is this Saturday.  Does that mean I need to buy three days before so the R hits my CDP account on Friday and I can exercise through ATM purchase?  Working backwards, this would mean Wednesday is the last day to buy

Since Koh Eco shares are so weak, I think got good chance to subscribe to LOTS of excess rights.

I have my rights entitlement. So I sold all the mother shares, and hope to buy some excess rights cheaply using the money from the mother shares sales proceeds.

We know Singapore market has very few long term investors, many are just traders. So when you have a big position, it can be nightmarish when you need to sell.

For time being, I think Koh Eco will continue to do very well, so thats a strong fundamentals supporting the stock. However, for more near term catalysts, I am focuding more on Koh Brothers, which owns 65% of Koh Eco. For a few reasons:

1. Koh Brothers Exec Condo is fully sold (according to news published on its website). TOP should be obtained soon, meaning the profit would be recognised 100% in 4Q 2017.
2. It sold the Heeton JV - Buildhome for $41 million. Profit should be recognised in Q3
3. Its re-modelled Sun Plaza should have a major reval gain. Dont know how much yet. But according to some, it should be in excess of $100 million gain.
4. It is starting is Korean Beauty business (Koracle)
5. Its property development in South Korea

Vested. Waiting for its value to be DISCOVERED by the market.

The problem with this stock is that once the rights exercise is successfully concluded, the chng kay may withdraw all the support. We have seem routinely this stock can for months have very little liquidity and share price will drift lower. So when there is liquidity, I chose to unload the more expensive mother shares, and the rights shares can be acquired for only 5.5 cents. If the mother shares later trade below 9 cents, I think I still would have a buffer. This is just a practical reason for me, nothing to do with the fundamentals of the stock, which is still very good.

If u got ur mother shares at below 10 or better, might as well keep the mother, since now u only get the 2/5 entitlement of mother shares in the form of rights and wrts, once u get the rights cum free wrts, ur average costs will be much much better than now.

Well just a suggestion, it might be wrong though. Dyod

Just to illustrate my point:

Say u have 200 lots of mother shares at 9.5 cts, so ur entiltelement is 2/5 * 200, 80 lots of koh eco rights/wrts at 5.5 cts.

We leave out the free wrts first,

So ur average cost is (200*9.5)+(80*5.5)/280 = 8.35 cts, and thats excluding 80 lots of free warrants. So ur average costs have been reduced substantially and will be better in the event of capital appreciation.

Well, it works both ways, if u think that the share prices of koh eco is gonna go south, then u might be right in selling the mother and get the rights/wrts.
