GAR still good to hold? Or there are concerns with it now?
Credibility is very important...
So when the Co announced that it set aside US$100 million for share buyback in its Annual Report, and subsequently did not carry out buyback in the face of falling share price..
No wonder, share price keeps weakening because the words are empty..without actions
Not yet means not yet.... now is loading time.

" Yangzijiang Financial Holding has allocated $200 million for its share buy-back programme, following mandate given by shareholders.
At an EGM held on June 8, 99.81% of the shareholders&rsquo votes were in favour of the mandate.
&ldquo The purpose of the programme is to increase Shareholders&rsquo value and improve the return of equity of the group,&rdquo the company says."
" Besides share buybacks, the company&rsquo s directors, including CEO Vincent Toe (picture) had made open market purchases of the company&rsquo s shares."
At least this Co goes for 10% of its ordinary issued share capital.
10% of its own issued ordinary share capital.
At long last. We should have futher news be quite soon on the IPO.

If we all can hold this as investment stock, n be patient in this palm oil supercycle and possible IPO listing of its subsidairy in India, surely Golden Agri price will rise. ...Best also while waiting the company also give an average annual dividend of abt 5%

Looking at the 3 years Palm Oil Future chart below, it tells us Golden Agri is worth more then the current price. Its too cheap! The shortists r trying to control it rises .. knowing the retailers pool is too small to challenge them. Plus our own retailers allow SGX to loan their shares to the shortists for a very very small interest. Its like shorting their own foot! The irony is why GAR investors allow SGX to loan their shares for shortists to short his or her own shares!  . SGX came out with this scheme to make more money from all navie investors. These investors think they can earn some interest under SGX custodian lending pool scheme, but the fact is SGX is the overall win...so Why allow SGX to use our own shares to short our own investment for a v v small interest ???

Looking at the pattern of trading this morning, it seems some broking house or BB r shorting GAR. These shortists r trying to recover the 6.95m shares shorted at the average price of 29.9c yesterday.. This actually exclude the last few trading days of loses when GAR inches up each day..For those who can hold, fear not becoz Palm oil future index continues to rise today to 6,595 MYR/T (https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/palm-oil). This is close to multiyear high, n according to Golden Sachs commodity price is just the begining of the supercycle period.

Shares closed above the 60dMA yesterday and broke the previous resistance level.
Both MACD and RSI are constructive.

Where is the first share buyback after the so called AGM announcemnt - reserving US$100 million for buyback to enhance shareholder value?
If no action, might as well say US$200 million...no difference.
