This stock definitely sounds like the typical Value Trap.
Tons of cash, low PE, low float, low trading volume, controlling shareholder is a tycoon/billionaire family.
Good profits but most of the money goes into paying tycoon and family members who are also the Chairman, Directors, CEO, CFO, etc, etc.
Tons of such stocks in SGX Circus Maximus.

Hi All! Noob here. OK, so I bought some Haw Par shares a while ago when prices dropped until jialat. And so I' ve been hoping to see some sort of recovery. However, I' ve been reading up quite a fair bit and a number of people seem hesitant about this stock in terms of growth. We' ve seen reports about it' s reserves etc. And yet, things ar moving pretty slowly. Or am I being too kan cheong? I' d like to hear from you please, perhas what you think about Haw Par' s outlook. And if you have any ideas as to when dividends might start to go up again from the $0.15. Thanks very much!
