Seems obvious that this reit will fall quite low soon. Thought of buying initially as yield is good.

Anyone of any suggestion of a good reit?

Think they are smarter than that.
In the near future, there will suddenly be rosy news and even rosier forecasts. Analysts will tout BUY, ADD, OVERWEIGHT etc.
Stock price will suddenly head for the moon, sucking in retail investors who rush to buy/trade out of fear of missing out.
And so, these shares will pass on to retail investors at high.  And retail investors end up holding the bag.
And the BBs open Champagne and laugh all the way to the bank (actually to their own bank).

Once the income suppor is gone - will yield go down to 4%? Also, I thought with the growing power of internet retailing, won' t such outlet malls be in a sunset industry, since presumably the shoppers there are highly  price conscious?  How do they ensure that items sold there are not fake? Will any clampdown on counterfeit goods, like IP protection issues being drummed by the US currently - have an impact on Sassuer' s malls? Too many questions, too many doubts - hence I am avoiding.

I reckon with the generally cold response to the IPO, 70c to 75c may be a safer entry. which would equate to an expected yield of 8% or more.

PUBLIC OFFER RESULT -- No balloting,  Just like placement  as allocation for 1:1

It is relatively hard for placement players to get (buyers) whatever their number of units they wanted (their application for order). It is even harder for retailers.

This allocation has been un-usual. First time 1:1,
retailers got some units. (See allocation table).

Those had applied 100,000 to 1,000,000 (+) units, got ONLY 20,000 to 50,000 units. (Is not 100% allocation). Is not pathetic response from public response.

Goldfinger      ( Date: 28-Mar-2018 08:53) Posted:

I thought the public response was pathetic.  I decided against subscribing for the IPO  after I read a few articles about the complicated structure and the income support (which means the malls are not self sustaining).  Had a fear that everyone will be allotted, and that fear came true.    All the best  to those vested.
