Retail investors don' t have the power to buy in at this volume. BBs collecting, still finding the right price to enter. $0.6 looks safe and good.

I think the BBs made enough money on this one already. Why should they continue to support it at such a high price? They also want it to go much lower in order to reload.

More people selling to BB now, they collecting at low price.

From The Edge markets:

SINGAPORE (May 16): UOB Kay Hian, DBS and Maybank Kim Eng are maintaining a &ldquo hold&rdquo call on Jumbo Group with a target prices of 64 cents, 72 cents and 66 cents respectively.

Jumbo&rsquo s 2Q17 earnings fell below analysts&rsquo expectations. The chilli crab specialist reported 0.3% higher net profit of $5.8 million from a year ago even as sales dipped 0.6% to $39.4 million. The fall in revenue was mainly due to the lacklustre Singapore operations, namely the Jpot brand, Bak Kut Teh (BKT) segment and the flagship East Coast seafood outlet.

I thought Temasek did very well on this Jumbo investment. A while back, it sold out near the highest point at around 73.5 cents.

Nobody cares about Maybank KE. Big players unloading, profit taking to offset losses/ to gain liquidity.
BBs has joined the fray. On my watchlist. Tmr can tell whether its a good time to enter.

From its track record of investing in local IPO, perhaps Temasek should invest more in local stocks.

When they first lost a very heavy amount, they came up with the reason that the investment was meant for long term.   However they sold one large western   bank at short term at a significant loss while Kuwait invesment which bought the same bank made money by holding.   Now nearly a decade later, the long term investment is still losing money.   Gic under LKY and Tony Tan lost a lot of money during the financial crisis and we are still licking the wounds.

Bb take this opportunity to scare all the retail investors to panic sell while they collect at low price.

Agree. I am waiting lower to pick up some. Not vested for now.

This may in mid term go down to range between 0.48 to 0.545. But long term wise is a good company. Can collect if continue to drop. Current price still slightly expensive.

Maybank Kim Eng cuts target price from $0.75 to $0.66.
Jumbo  Group Ltd - Still Awaiting Catalysts (HOLD, TP SGD0.66,  JUMBO  SP, Consumer)

Maintain HOLD following 2Q17 results that missed expectations, which was mainly due to a lack of new outlets, higher franchise development costs, as well as JPOT&rsquo s underperformance. FY17/18/19 forecasts reduced by 13%/6%/3% on new outlet timing changes and likely Beijing start-up losses, while margins are trimmed on poorer results of JPOT. Overseas expansion success to be the next catalyst, but we would wait for more proof before turning more optimistic. We note that  Jumbo  has a strong track record overseas. DCF-TP SGD0.66 (WACC 8.3%, LTG 3%).
