thats the thaibev AGM
06th June is Thai Beverage dividend payout. Does anyone knows what will happen next? Online website said that the month of June there is a meeting. Does anyone knows about this meeting?
Yes without a doubt and that' s just a function of the economic growth and businesses growing as a result. The question is as a listed company, there are time pressures from investors on total shareholder returns so it ultimately comes down to what is your investment time frame and holding power and period.

I still believe Thai Beverage will grow because people needs to survive and people will adjust themselves to the economy.
One day, I believe BeerCo will be listed in their Stock Exchange.

I dont disagree but helpful to reference consensus estimates as well as historical averages as a benchmark. The fundamentals have been quite challenging for Thai consumer in general and not sure how much the market has priced in some of the negatives in 2Q given earthquake, etc. Key is pricing the entry for the stock as it also seems like some of the catalysts like beerco spin-off is also seemingly delayed

Analyst reports are not accurate most of the time, best to ignore. High TP doesn't mean it will go higher, likewise lower TP doesnt mean no potential to go higher too.

Think the stock is trying to find where the new low is and build a base around there? Post recent results, stock received a series of downgrades and TP cuts so it feels like its building a new base (near Apr low and hopefully not going back to Jul 2024 low closer to 40c)

Today, Thai Bev is on top 20 volume. What does the high volume signify? The stock price is not moving much. Can anyone tells what is happening? Good or bad.

No wonder how people still go for a drink because we are humans.
The question is that can Thai Beverage share price goes up or goes down. Nobody knows.

I dunno if i should buy Thaibev or Genting at their low prices...both look like got chance to rebound from this price by holding 1-2 years. Suggestions?

Buy the one that you think will not see lower lows in your 1-2 years time frame.

Dont need to do strategic review, just need to first execute on the beerco spin-off after trying for so many times and years. Once that can be pulled off then move on to execute on perhaps the food business which seems to be doing ok and is synergistic.
The other headwind that Thailand faces is the high consumer debt so that probably also weigh on the ability and propensity to spend if tourism is not going to be a key driver.

Beerco business have a couple of qtr good run.
All Thai Bev needs to do is conduct a strategic review...price might suddenly shoot up 5-10cts and list Beerco, another 10-20cts.
very quickly back to  70 cts
Perhaps food business needs to be restructured and sold away. Food business isnt thai bev forte.

From 2021 to now, we lost count of how many BEERCO IPO attempts alr.
It's an embarrassment if current attempt flunk again.

Absolutely trading at a relatively low valuation compared to its global peers, which may reflect investor concerns about management' s perceived indecisiveness&mdash particularly regarding the prolonged delay and uncertainty surrounding the brewery unit&rsquo s IPO.
