Undeserving of its steep discount. Despite its 59% rise in the past one year, Wing Tai still trades at 0.65x P/B and 0.5x P/RNAV. We believe that the large discounts are unjustified given Wing Tai’s strong balance sheet and its relatively low-cost landbank. " Wing Tai's 1H13 earnings reflect buying sentiments prior to the new property measures. We expect earnings to be frontloaded as sales and launches slow down in 2H13." If high-end demand remains weak for an extended period after the recent property measures, the launch of Wing Tai's remaining Anderson and Ardmore projects could prove difficult, CIMB says, noting units need to be disposed of two years from completion in 2013-14. The stock trades at a 23% RNAV discount, the lowest among the small-mid cap developers, it notes. " We think that weaker volumes and average selling prices are likely de-rating catalysts, with projects on the market already widening discounts offered." It cuts its target to S$1.85 from S$1.94 after lowering FY13-14 EPS forecasts, while raising FY15's on delayed sales. It keeps an Underperform call. The stock is up 2.1% at S$1.945. Compare to Half Year ended 31 Dec 2011: Total Profit +162%
Net Asset Value is $2.95 (Group), $1.28 (Company)
last done $1.94... moving toward $2.00...
not yet read the report... but so far this morning $1.915 - $1.93, manage to break above recent
resistance @ $1.92, despite DOW -ve.... look like the result is GOOD.

totally agree. Thought of selling coz more cooling measures might be coming up and i not sure if the next earnings announcement would be positive (11 feb)
Still holding on coz it's undervalued and I also notice buying interest was quite decent this wekk

so far, seems to have strong resistance at $1.92
Wing Tai has completely shake off the effect of cooling
measure (was $1.75 - $1.865 then).
Now $1.89…
patently waiting for Wing Tai to reach $2.00...
can do it within 2~3 weeks?? now $1.88...
Capitaland already closed the gap...
oh Wing Tai, what are you waiting for ....
use your wing, fly high soon ....
All property counters drop not jus WT cooling measure does affect ..but good opportunity to enter. Just my view. Good luck !

e too vested in. just knee jerk. nothing much. good time to buy. i got another 50 lots
make a quick decision, bought Wing Tai @ $1.80 .... think it is just a knee jerk reaction..
the cooling measure after all is a short term one ... now $1.82 ... hopeful..
clearly past 1.95
Read my earlier posts. NTA is 2.50. No brainer.

I think sti anytime soon will be below 3200, to 3190, next support, good to take some profit now,
have been up without a little correction, vol heavy but it is pure speculation.
