JEP CEO Luong purchase 4000,000 share  at 0.235 last Friday.
He acquisition JEP at 0.150 last year and now open market is 0.240
So he purchase the 4000,000 at 0.235, what you expect of his next target ?
JEP next financial report will be around 25th Feb, expect a very good result base of last half year report(+3.338m compare 30 Jun 18 -327) . CEO Luong mention on the interview of his look forward on JEP will be a better grow compare with UMS in 2020.
expect a spark during report.
It&rsquo s time to accumulate as you can see it&rsquo s hover between 220 to 240 from last few weeks.
hi fren, just a few thoughts to share.  for one, $0.29 is BARELY a target
if earnings eventually only doubles or triples from current (which is legitimately  on the cards), what' s $0.29?
reccommend serious investors do their own channel checks and due diligence.  interestingly, see the comments from Luong himself in a recent article:
JEP is angling to capture a bigger slice of this growing pie. Some of its clients are established names such as French multinational aerospace company  Safran, aerospace and defence company Collins Aerospace and Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing.
According to Luong, the combination of  UMS  and JEP makes them more appealing to the large customers, instead of each company offering its services individually. By using fewer suppliers that can do more, these large customers can improve their own efficiency. &ldquo We now have more opportunities to capture the supply chain,&rdquo he says.
Additionally:
He also says that on the back of profitability, JEP is likely to see more customers coming its way, as it is seen as a better-run entity than before. &ldquo Customers are more willing to give opportunities to companies that are better run. JEP has the potential to grow a lot faster than  UMS. We have to work on taking the company there,&rdquo says Luong.
again, what is $0.29?
to those forumners who read the posts and astutely accumulated both JEP & UMS near the lows just a few months ago, my heartiest congratulations!
there are a handful of gems still looking to collect on the quiet.  but most happy to share on these 2 counters for some time.  actually too obvious to miss in my view (what were the analysts thinking??)

UMS Holdings rides semiconductor upturn investment in JEP delivers sliver of returns
Uma Devi 29/11/2019, 7:00am
SINGAPORE (Dec 2): UMS Holdings, along with the numerous Singapore-based companies in the semiconductor supply chain, is poised to ride the bottoming-out of this industry, thanks to a broad-based recovery in demand. After declining for more than a year, demand began to rebound in 2Q2019. ?We expect the recovery to continue,? says UMS chairman and CEO Andy Luong in an interview with The Edge Singapore

Hi Acl2013
Thanks again for pointing out the announcement.
Extract -
The Company has budgeted for capital investment and intends to purchase the Initial Batch of Machinery to replace the existing old machinery for the Group&rsquo s existing business operations in Singapore, and the Future Batches of Machinery for the Group&rsquo s future expansion of its business operations and further replacement of existing old machinery for the Group&rsquo s existing business operations in Singapore, where necessary. The purchase of Machinery is also expected to increase the Group&rsquo s capacity in its precision machining and engineering services business. The Proposed Acquisition will allow the Group to purchase used machinery which are wellmaintained, at a lower cost as compared to purchasing similar new machinery from unrelated third parties. The Board is of the opinion that the Proposed Acquisition will enable the Group to enjoy immediate benefits as the Machinery have been well-maintained and are in good condition, ready for immediate use and production runs.
My takeaway -
Since the initial 4 machines are meant for replacement, with only 2 new machines (presumably smaller units) - capacity expansion is unlikely to be material.  Will look out for further PO issuance of new machines in the coming months, which may signify the need to add capacity fast to meet increasing customer orders.

Hi Acl2013
What is this additional 6 machines about?  I did not pick out this development.  Care to enlighten.  Thank in advance.

Just took a bite of 100k at 0.235 being 90% of UMS ave cost of investment.  Hopefully Andy can realise its potentials.
read carefully, friend.  the language syntex is articulate and clear...was referring to other loss making companies vs a clear turnaround, high growth potential investment like JEP.    my posts on JEP were well before yours, too
Andy certainly knows a bargain when he sees one.  if he laughs, its not because of his price level for accumulation (his initial entry level was around 0.28 pre-share consolidation) - to real businessmen, it goes well beyond that.
JEP is still cheap vis-a-vis its long term growth prospects and the strategic plans Andy has for it.  contra players often do not get this element to enjoy multi-bagger returns but hey, congrats all around to those who listened, understood and enjoyed the recent early gains.  long term investors should see much, much more to come with patience

👍 very good, but I will wait at $0.70++ time frame 2~3 years as don' t forget the additional 6 machines to contribute the revenue.

Lost making? Jep has around turnaround, else Andy from UMS won' t be buying a major stake. UMS may privatise Jep eventually.
This explained why Jep powered from 0.13++ to above $0.20 in just a few weeks.
Andy is laughing now as he has been accumulating the shares from the open market cheaply.
