Surprisingly no shareholders complain money stuck here... you can see Midas thread, many complain there.
Although no one bothers about yuuzoo?s crapy stories, it is interesting to read and see how this bunch of monkeys make humorous announcements and make a mockery out of SGX.
They probably thinks they are elites dealing with novice investors from a undeveloped country and a 3rd world stock exchange. I am waiting to see if EY or SGX will sue the board for making frivolous statements.
This is the most interesting co on SGX. Even under trading suspension they still continue to provide loads of humor. Well done Mr Mohan (Tarzan wannabe or puppet?)

I can' t help but laughed out when I saw this...

apparently the Company couldn' t find a Singapore law firm willing to advise? The Company considers that more than sufficient time and opportunity have been given to EY to respond to the Company&rsquo s list of queries and comments. As such, the Company has today instructed its lawyers to give EY a final deadline of 18th May 2018 to give their response to the list of 79 questions, failing which the Company is contemplating appropriate action, including but not limited to legal recourse. In the premises, the Company is appointing a leading US-based law firm to advise it on possible legal action arising out of the contents of the EY Draft Report.
apparently the Company actually doesn' t know what are the possible legal actions yet?
apparently the Company thinks that stating such implicit threatening statement helps?

Yuuzoo used to have 6 directors, one from finland resigned due to CAD investigation, another two, also from finland,  resigned because they just found out that yuuzoo is not in finland, another one is dead.
The two remaining directors are Cheong Boon Leong and athony william.
Cheong boon leong served in SIAS from 2006 to 2013 in leadership position, he was SIAS vice President in 2006.

Appoint Prof Mak to SGX Regco Chief .
To restore confidence.
As for SIAS , dont make me laugh . Hosted yuuzoo. Must check what SIAS gained in hosting yuuzoo. Must yuuzoo pay SIAS to be hosted ? Any free drinks ? Free meals ?
The role of SIAS is to give warnings advice to retail investors of "suspicious" "full of red flags" listed companies.
So many retail investors find yuuzoo " suspicious " a lot of red flags and Prof Mak did a good job in giv8ng more convincing suapicions.
What did SIAS do prior that ?

This is the World' s 2nd Greatest Joke.
Announced launching new brand of smartphone since 2013........................
&lsquo Newkia&rsquo smartphone brand to launch &lsquo within a year&rsquo with eye on emerging Asian markets
November 2, 2014 1:07
&ldquo Newkia&rdquo , the working name given to a new  brand that was  announced on the day Nokia&rsquo s mobile division was acquired by Microsoft, is to launch &ldquo within a year&rdquo , its co-founder says, who has set his  sights on emerging markets in Asia for the &ldquo dressed down&rdquo smartphone.
Singapore-based Fin Thomas Zilliacus, Nokia&rsquo s former APAC boss, announced the launch of Newkia last year  through a press release that drew considerable  interest. He has been in Hong Kong this week to meet with potential investors.
The Newkia phone is to  run on an Android operating system and built &ldquo on the same principles  that made Nokia a great brand &ndash user-friendly, durable and with a long battery life. Less is more,&rdquo   Zilliacus told Mumbrella.
He would not share details for  the planned features for the device, but clarified  that it would be a smartphone, not a basic feature phone on which Nokia&rsquo s brand fame was built.
&ldquo For feature phones, there is no way back. But a dressed-down smartphone that offers the key features that people want to use &ndash not a million features that require an instruction manual thicker than a telephone book &ndash has a future.&rdquo
The new device will look &ldquo very different&rdquo to a Nokia phone, but the &ldquo experience will be similar,&rdquo   Zilliacus said.
It will  be targeted primarily at consumers in emerging markets with a simple design at an attractive price, &ldquo but not a low-end phone,&rdquo he said. &ldquo A high-end phone at a low price.&rdquo
Zilliacus, who is a relative of the founder of Nokia, said the launch of Newkia would have to happen within the next 12 months, because the nostalgic associations consumers have with the now-defunct brand would be lost  if left for much  longer.
However, Zilliacus said the same thing last year, telling  ZNet  that Newkia would be looking to release its first handset within 12 months from September 2013, when the article was published.
Like Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone  brand  that has grown quickly in Asia  since it launched in 2011, the product will be sold online to begin with, he said.
The target markets in Asia will be South and Southeast Asia, but not China, &ldquo because it is so hard to get in,&rdquo   Zilliacus said. The brand also plans to launch in the Middle East and Africa.
The device is to be designed in Finland, choosing product designers from a Nokia alumni talent pool that includes those laid off after the Microsoft acquisition, and  manufacturing will  most likely be in Asia,  Zilliacus said.
As for looking for help to build the Newkia  brand, Zilliacus  said he wanted to &ldquo use the best available expertise for marketing and brand awareness&rdquo having  himself worked as a client-side marketer for Nokia for five years.
Zilliacus was also in town to court investors in  YuuZoo, a social media meets e-commerce platform in which he is the largest investor as well as  chairman and CEO, which he said will serve as a channel to market and sell Newkia.
Newkia has more than  5,000 fans on its  Facebook fan page  which Zilliacus hopes can be  migrated to the YuuZoo  platform.
Feedback from potential investors in Newkia has been positive, many of whom were sorry to see the Nokia brand die,  Zilliacus  says.
&ldquo The people I talk to have never understood why Nokia went for Windows [as its smartphone operating system]. The reason given was that Nokia would have been one of many using Android, so wouldn&rsquo t stand out. It was market leader at time when they went for Windows,&rdquo he said.
&ldquo I would have argued the opposite &ndash the fact that the majority of manufacturers were using Android was proof of concept. Why on earth go for Windows when everyone knew consumers didn&rsquo t like it? Windows isn&rsquo t a user-friendly operating system.&rdquo
&ldquo Everyone I have spoken to can&rsquo t wait for a Nokia concept that runs on Android,&rdquo he said.
Singapore-listed YuuZoo  launched a mobile game called Honey Snatch  last week, which the company claims has attracted 5,000 players since launch.

YuuZoo chairman steps down amid CAD investigation
FRI, APR 27, 2018 - 11:17 PM
YUUZOO Corporation' s chairman Thomas Zilliacus has submitted his resignation in view of the investigation by the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD), the company said in a filing to the Singapore Exchange on Friday.
The investigation was started by a complaint from an unknown party, YuuZoo said, adding: " While he (Mr Zilliacus) is convinced nobody in the company has done anything wrong, he has informed the board he believes the honourable thing to do is to step aside while the investigation is ongoing."
The company is under investigation by the CAD on possible breaches of the Securities and Futures Act, The Business Times reported earlier this month.
The company has asked Mr Zilliacus to continue working with YuuZoo under a consultancy agreement with Mobile FutureWorks Inc (MFW), with a focus on managing " large overseas deals" that Mr Zilliacus has negotiated and managed, including the large smart city and real estate project in Harbin, and the expansion of YuuZoo' s new Digilogistics subsidiary, YuuLog, in France, YuuZoo said.
The company has also asked MFW to help in building and overseeing the operations of YuuZoo' s overseas joint ventures and franchisee operations, and to assist the company in sourcing new merger and acquisition opportunities.
-----------------------------
Mr Thomas Zilliacus, Chairman and CEO of YuuZoo Corporation Limited, is a globally recognised innovator and leader in the mobile/Internet business space. He has had a significant number of years working in top management positions with global industry leaders in the mobile industry. He is the Chairman and Founder of Mobile FutureWorks Inc, an investment and development company focused on the mobile/Internet space, which currently holds approximately 28% of YuuZoo&rsquo s share capital.
