You are absolutely right. Seem like the same group of people buying when see there is some light. After some time FM not come in, this group of people start lost confident and sell it at slightly higher or lower than they bought. Plus some are trying contra when there is some good news. Therefore the price will never chiong, really have to wait for FM or Midas provide real gold on the table at next Q results.

A lot of investors are wondering why so many contracts won (Not small ok) and the price is still going sideway......
Only one reason, FMs not interested......Only those who are confident on what they believe can buy and keep.
Please do not play contra......this counter will only confirm flying after 2nd Qtr results...

Midas Holdings: JV NPRT clinches CNY3.5b metro contracts
Midas Holdings (Midas) announced that its 32.5%-owned JV Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport (NPRT) has clinched three metro train contracts with an aggregate value of CNY3.5b. This bumps up NPRT&rsquo s YTD contract wins to CNY4.6b. The first order is worth ~CNY1.5b for the Suzhou Rail Transit Line 4 and Branch Procurement Contract, with delivery slated between 2015 and 2017. The second contract is worth ~CNY0.9b for the Hefei Rail Transit Line 1 Phases 1 and 2, with delivery scheduled from 2015 to 2016. The last contract is for the Hangzhou Metro Line 4 Phase 1 Stock Procurement contract and is worth ~CNY1.1b, with delivery slated from 2014 to 2017. As Midas is also a key supplier of aluminium extrusion profiles for NPRT, we believe this may also lead to future contract wins for Midas. Maintain BUYon Midas, with an unchanged fair value estimate of S$0.61, pegged to 1.2x FY14F P/B. (Wong Teck Ching Andy)

It seems that this counter has disappointed many people....but the recent contract is not a small contract. RMB$3.5B. ( only 30+ % share is still a big contract/s)
More important this is ONLY the first half of the year. Please note that there are still high speed contracts for the balance fo the year.
Whatever, for those who are investing in this counter ( not refering to trading ) the upside potential from current price is what you are most concern/ a look at Midas BV and having accumulate more contracts would tell more about the coming quarters of results. Certainly more so on its profitability as high speed contracts are included now.
Time will tell : )) for those vested.

Haha did you avert the losses yesterday? I hope your group was not the only one buying last week, mine is just few lots left to be cleared, every rebound i just use it to rebalance, any bad signal better escape as quick as possible,
