A lot of the focus in this thread and other is the demand for lithium of China as they place a premium on developing EVs. The article " Can India Overtake China in the EV Revoluton (

The EU held a meeting earlier this month to see how the EU can catch up on the EV battery production, and as @Atom99 and a few others highlighted the US appear to be in a scramble as they realize they perhaps been left behind.
If India with a very big pollution issue, combined with a big vehicle consumer market, gets into the act then it rather than seeing China as the driving force, India is another (in addition to EU and US perhaps stepping up more). Good background for thoughts on future demand.
