IMO, seems like US and China is upping the pace in AI cometitions, seems like they are aiming to get the private sector to aligned their AI effort under the direction of the respective government. In plain English, more empahisis, effort and resources will be channel to AI.

Trump pauses tariffs on Canada imports for 30 days after doing the same for Mexico
- President Donald Trump agreed to pause the implementation of planned tariffs on imports from Canada for at least 30 days, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.
