They went through quite tough times since 2020 because of stoppage of work due to the lockdown.      Previously this company do rights issues frequently, and lost some shareholder support when they can' t deliver good results - maybe they didn' t count the costs properly, but still make money until 2020 when the crisis hit them.    Then they decided to borrow, hence their debt ratio went up.    And the placement of shares to Penta Ocean who bought into the company cheap.    You look at the retained earnings, they are solid, EDITDA is improving also quarter to quarter.    So it' s just a matter of time when the price doubles.      I once owned a water filtration company, kept the share many many years, but in the end when I sold it, it was many times return.    I think Koh Eco is going to be like this too.      The fundamentals are solid, it' s just timing.

Look at the chart from 2017 till now and you see it is sliding down. If this co is good, why this price?🤔

Penta Ocean JV has take place for a year, will u want to park your $$ to hope they are really a winner or hoping?😛

This company is good at securing large jobs - they have the expertise and machines to carry out their work, it' s not easy to survive the crisis which went on for two years already.      They managed to get through, so it' s a matter of time for profitability to rise with the share price.      They just announce another tender and price shoots up.      The labour shortage had been a big problem and Singapore has been in lock down for two years - what ever name they call it like circuit breaker or phase 3 or whatever - it has taken a toll on businesses.    Now with the rollback of all these harsh measures, we can see Koh Eco coming back soon.        Penta Ocean got into Koh Eco because the company has potential.

This is your hope and wish it can happen on the stock only. The management seem suck over the year. Olitek listing is also a joke. Will just follow and see how this counter goes...

Matter of time Koh Eco will recover to 8 cents and above.  Expect more contracts to be clinched as government needs to pump prime the economy.    It will be good if hey can secure more water filtration projects.

The problem is are they able to compete oversea with the mighty China and Japan big players? They should consider themselves lucky there is a small pond in sg for them to suck up to...🤪

ahberngh      ( Date: 12-Mar-2022 10:03) Posted:

Disappointing.

Over the last 2-3 years, only one contract.

Management is sleeping.

Koh Eco should expand its business areas and its geographical presence.

Cannot always depend on just Singapore govt contracts.
