Polaris Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended Mach 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of SGD 22,750,000 against SGD 17,668,000 a year ago. Profit before income tax was SGD 182,000 compared to loss of SGD 728,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the company was SGD 187,000 compared to loss of SGD 733,000 a year ago. Net cash flows used in operating activities was SGD 658,000 compared to net cash flows generated from operating activities of SGD 3,260,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was SGD 1,000. Basic and diluted earnings per share attributable to owners of the company were 0.001 cents compared to loss of SGD 0.004 cents a year ago.

Good decision, I think. Use same money for some better buys. Must look around and study the company. I believe it is better not to go for companies that continue to lose for years without any sign of solid turning around. Only turn around solid ones can recover. Further watch out for good managers/mgt not those who are known to be tricky with no good attitude for shareholders' value.
