DBSS expects this to be a candidate for privatisation...
Px creeping up....expectation of satisfactory to good result.
Don't waste your time on this snail. Lots of money making opportunities around. Don't get your money stuck in this stagnant counter and earn nothing in this bull run. When the bull run is over and the correction comes, you will cry over lost opportunities.
Full yr result 2016 to be annc on 23Feb17.
CSE Global acquiring 100% stake of Gulf Coast Power & Control of Louisiana for US$4.9m, which may be raised to US$5.4m upon reaching profit milestones. The target provides equipment and services to the midstream and downstream O& G industry. Post-deal, FY15 pro-forma EPS is estimated to increase 3% to 6.81¢ .
Already moves up 13+%.
It' s healthy balance sheet allows it to weather the storm and it pays  us  (5.9%) to hold out for better times. Vested

3Q16 net profit slumped 52.7% to $4m on revenue of $81m (-21.6%) attributable to the lack of large greenfield projects which caused contraction across its operations in Asia-Pacific (-3.3%), Americas (-33.1%) and Europe/Middle East/Africa (-15.1%). Despite the poorer topline performance, operating expenses fell only 4.5%, narrowing operating margin to 6.9% (-3.6ppts).
Sigh, lackluster results. Looks like will have to hold for a long time for any meaningful gain. I'm thinking to just sell off and put the $ into other stocks that have been beaten down and more potential to bounce up.
Any advise is appreciated.

Very true. I personally feel that it' s bottom line may fall for the next few qtrs due to the very depressed O& G sector but the coy has $64m in cash and all the valuations are very attractive. Definitely a good buy for the longer term.

Depends on one' s time frame, 0.41 could be a steal or a dud.
Look to see how it diversifies and don' t forget the ERP project, though this is a few years down the road..
I doubt if forthcoming results will be very good given the coy' s reliance on the troubled O& G sector but I think 41.5c is a good bargain given the healthy cash reserves and diversification of its business. However, investing in any stock connected to the O& G sector is a risk in the short run.

Price has been holding very steady since they announced results date. Does this mean that expecting good results? Seems can only buy at 41.5cts at best...
Can you share with  us why you are so confident of the forthcoming results. Thanks.
