Update

True. hopefully haze is not as bad as last yr, otherwise the whole hospitality sectors will be hit badly and so win 1 but lost in other stocks.
Protective mask is just 1 of its product line.
There are other potential catalysts that will move its share px much higher, viz:-
1. Upgrading to Mainboard Listing on SGX is pending approval.
2. Gaining market share in International Markets in US & Europe was earmarked as a key milestone in its AR2013 pg 03/04.
Currently bulk of its revenue is derived from Asia-pacific (> 80%) vs US and Europe accounting for < 20%. Main reason is trade barriers on Made-in-China medical supplies. Hence they are moving goods made-in-China to its Cambodia subsidiary for re-export to US & Europe.
3. China' s aging population is growing. So there is a booming demand for disposal medical supplies there. It has presence in Hangzhou, Shandong and Shanghai.
DYODD. My views may not be right.

Don't think the price will reach last year high unless haze is worst than last year .....and note that last year at this time ......the worst of the haze is over already.
What if haze is mild this year then I think 9 cents is max...... So far no haze yet..... And if no haze.... 6.+ cents here we come.

But if you look at the latest haze satellite picture at NEA website. If you look at Sumatra, the hotspots subside and haze reduce significantly in the past 24 hours compared to the Thursday and Friday picture. Correct me if I am wrong and Just a word of caution to the medtec punters.

Jump in sales of N95 masks ahead of haze season
Check by Case shows they are ' readily available'
PUBLISHED BY STRAITS TIMES ON JUN 28, 2014 6:30 AM

Two major pharmacy chains have seen a jump in sales of N95 masks in the last one or two months, though checks by the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case) show that these are still " readily available" .
At Unity pharmacies, sales of masks have gone up by about 20 per cent this month and in May, compared with April. Last year, the company sold one million N95 face masks.
Mr Andy Wan, director of wholesale and housebrand at NTUC Unity Healthcare, said the company expects " a significant increase" in face mask sales when the haze returns and is ready to " quickly replenish the masks at our 54 outlets whenever stocks run low" . " We are also stocking up on other haze-related items such as eye drops, inhalers and medication to relieve throat irritation," he added

The haze may not have descended on Singapore yet, but some people are not taking chances.
