SembCorp Marine- The new Frontier.

There is not much money to be made by cornering a stock. So I dob' t think anyone would want to do that.

Also, you have to declare to SGX if you purchase more than  5% of a listed company. And all substantial shareholders have to declare any purchase or sales.

 

In SG, cornering a stock is a violation of ACT. That means going to jail if caught. Do we not have such activities in SG?

Wash trading or LEFT hand sell to RIGHT hand is happening in all stock markets and in most actively traded stocks.

Not illegal for A to sell to B and B to sell back to A unless they are the same entity.

Even if they are the same entity, they cover their tracks well so It is almost impossible to prove. That' s why MAS or SGX will not waste their energy on this.

For all investors and speculators, we have to accept that manipulation is always part of the game.

And small astute investors are not at a disadvantage buit rather at an advantage because of all these manipoulatiuve activities. The more manipulation, the more opportunities.

After all, the report is FREE for all.

The expectation of a FREE analyst report is very low nowadays, usually not worth the paper they are printed on.
