Merger happening in June. Not sure if that means more upside for capitamall/com..
It will take a while for both gov and ppl to start going back to old norm until a real vaccine is ready for mass use.
This virus is very contagious and clusters can be easily formed. Each case or cluster found in the affected malls will be shunned like before.. Like people always say.. Health is wealth.

Once the CB are lifted, and they realise that they are mortal (ie COVID can hit anyone), people are going to spend and spend. Since they cannot travel, ie not safe or countries do not allow people in - they can only spend locally. However, Singapore may start allowing people in again - since it appears other countries have less COVID cases than US! |

Business not likely to go back to normal any time soon.
Espirit announced closing 56 outlet in Asia.. Next will be F&B and Bubble tea outlets and many more. Rent rebates to be passed down, rent will need to come down and occupancy lowered till probably next year. Dpu likely adjusted much lower to conserve cash. This is the new normal.. Sad. |

totally agree, easily shoot up in long term at the same time pocket some dividend! though probably lower during these period but who knows if payout ratio increase
