The capacity affected due to covid cases and MCO has negligible impact to ug imo since they have increased capacity of 500m gloves from Apr21 onwards. The underlying concerns would be shipment delays (note the recent increase in inventory level) and of course ASP, which I believe the ASP drop will be much less drastic as compared to TG. Dyodd.

Malaysia' s COVID-19 lockdown to be extended: PM Muhyiddin

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will extend a national lockdown beyond Monday (Jun 28) to curb the spread of COVID-19, state news agency Bernama reported on Sunday, citing Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

Lockdown measures were set to end on Monday. But Muhyiddin said they will not be eased until daily cases fell below 4,000, Bernama said.

Malaysia reported 5,803 cases on Saturday.

In May, a nationwide movement control order  (MCO) was re-imposed in Malaysia amid a third wave of COVID-19 cases. 

Known as MCO 3.0, all economic sectors were allowed to operate during the period but cross-district and interstate travel as well as social, sports and educational activities were prohibited.

Stricter restrictions on the economic and social sectors were later announced on May 21 as community cases continued to rise.

On Jun 11,  Senior Minister for Defence Ismail Sabri Yaakob  announced in a statement  that the MCO, which was then due to end on Jun 14,  would be extended to Jun 28.   Ya

I think the price will be decided by the other glove counters as well. If they move up then UG will follow as well.

 

We are just cts away from hitting the lowest price of 52.5 cts since 15/12/2020

And if have time and effort to check on where these numbers are from now versus back in Feb 2021, how many are from rich countries (who has the purchasing power) and how many are from developing/poor countries. Then........

Remember vaccines were developed many months ago. New variants' activities are becoming more aggressive. Countries need more glove companies support to fight new variant not just old outdated covid-19 virus.

UG has net S$50 mil  cash.    March 2021 report. stated Net assets at S$0.30 per share. Even if its earnings drop by 10% it is a pretty solid company.
