yes a lot of it, especially weak market and shortist stack tons before market start.
today short sell 1661k at 46, total vol 4316k (seller from 8.30am, 3 to 9 and drop back to 6kk)
assume covered, actual retail transaction is around 900k buy up, a good sign,
but i believe shortist will continue the same method till economy turn bullish or positive
news fall in while BB collect cheaper.
Quite supprise that the construstions of new yard is taken as negatively
base on px movement, maybe 2 yrs is too long even with positive business update stating strong demands

Marco Polo Marine to build new dry dock that ups its ship repair capacity by up to 25%
Marco Polo Marine 5LY 0.00% is looking to build a new dry dock, which will increase its capacity for ship repairs by up to 25%.
According to the group, the move is aimed at capitalising on the increased demand for ship repairs while further strengthening the group&rsquo s financial performance.
The group plans to begin constructing the 240m-long dry dock, its fourth, in November. The construction is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in Indonesia.
The project will be funded through a combination of operational cash flows and external financing from banks. The project is expected to be completed by the 1QFY2025.
&ldquo We have decided to build Dry Dock 4 to capitalise on the buoyant demand for ship repairs from our customers, as ship repair operations remain a consistent and reliable source of recurring income for us," says Marco Polo Marine CEO Sean Lee.
" Our aim is to provide efficient and exceptional services to our clients and simultaneously expand our customer base. This investment will not only help us achieve that, it will also enhance our bottom line over the longer term,&rdquo he adds

A lot of pple got stucked when this counter returned from suspension at range btw 50-60. So these pple might just take the chance to get back capital before the storm arrives in sept-Oct period. There are always chances to buy back at a later time . No1 rule in investing is to protect capital.
1) market prediction of weak demand from China is still the main cause.
2) headwind from Japan, as they plan to re-activate it nuclear plant after
releasing the treated water tomorrow.
3) rate hike from US discourage holding of high inventory
Let' s see how market react to Nvidia news tomorrow, if positive, it should
boost TSMC wafer demand which draw huge energy consumption in Taiwan
which might be positive as they still depend a lot on fossil fuel for energy dispite huge investment
in green energy, my view.
sound risky but good price to enter currently
1) Winter coming
2) opec call off a investment to expand capacity, not sure real reason.
3) potential AI boom which will revive many industry in US (leaving China out for now)
4) rebuild of settlement destory / people displace due to recent climate disasters
