not sure what is the assets under ROU... but rental should be under " short term lease" as per stated on the financial statement.

if after few years the group still making loss.. means it is not controlling its expenses well? The total group revenue cannot fully covers the expenses incurred...
I wonder why the freigh and handling expenses is so high... is that the norm?

twentycents      ( Date: 02-Sep-2020 08:33) Posted:

porbablility of the new Reporting standards ... the ROU would be the cost of the amontization (likely) that cause the net earning to go to the negative value ...
Infact, alot of companies (other than the super cash rich one) is at this level, they put rental tothe amotization too

linguist      ( Date: 02-Sep-2020 08:28) Posted:

US$400,000  is  Earnings/ (Losses) before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation.
The final net amount is a loss of  US$(799,000).

EBITDA: Revenue - Cost of sales - Salaries - Other expenses etc
Net Profit/Loss: EBIDA - Depreciation etc.

Some companies use EBIT, some uses EBITDA, very confusing (to want to show positivity??)... but final net amount  after all the expenses incurred, is still a loss.

it is a loss making company, after all expenses deducted from revenue...
for both HY 2019 and HY 2020.

Just that the letter PDF shows
- Revenue
- Net loss
- Earnings before depreciation, armortisation, interests, taxes

Maybe black_white and some traders mistake the last shown is the final net amount, but it isnt.. Net loss is the final amount after deducting.DAIT.

Different products
Can?t compare
Plus Jiutian float very big
This one 85pct all in their hands
So very easy cornered like eindec
The movement depends on the float

So it seems that Jiutian' s chemical bring in more profits than Abundance' s and Jiutian is a better buy. Good luck

Not necessarily that way, they might both be in the chemical industry but I don't think it's the same chemicals

papayaface      ( Date: 02-Sep-2020 06:43) Posted:

Anyway price already ran above Juitian yesterday and Jiutian made a lot more net profit of RMB34 million at half year, so it now makes Jiutian unpriced and Abundance overpriced ??  Good luck

I read from their financial report.

Chemical Business
The Group?s chemical trading business, conducted via our subsidiary, OSC, and its subsidiaries in the
People?s Republic of China (the ?PRC?) and Japan (collectively the ?OSC Group?) achieved revenue of
US$187.6 million, with profit after tax of US$0.4 million amidst challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic
and global economic downturn.

This was due mainly to certain types of chemical products that can be
used to produce hand sanitiser which were in high demand. In addition, the chemical prices have
increased as compared to the prices during the same period last year.
