STI power past the 3000 level
DBS above 27.75 .......Hmm
UOB 25.50 ( still 1.06X its book value )
OCBC 11.30  ( STILL 1.02X its book value )
Once dividend CAP is removed and the large provision return to profit end of the yr ....I see room for rise in them

Happy investing.

yes, agree -- the Local Banks are powering the STI towards and beyond 3000 points, as the real economy shares begin to make their comeback.  There is still a long way to go to recover from their pre-COVID levels, unlike other Markets

21.40 est bk is what I used . but the Xtimes bk is a estimate only ...certainly many other factors play a part.
Report of LV Bank turn profitable in 2 yrs is very positive knowing the vast market this can be .
Anyway ....it also depend on yr own timeline.

DBS latest report mentioned net book value is 20.08.

but if u take equity/outstanding shares it' s about 21.2-21.4.

Am I missing something? which base will be a better measure of the PB ratio?
