UOB has priced a dual tranche of senior notes at 1.25 per cent and Tier 2 subordinated notes at 2 per cent per annum. The bank raised US$1.5 billion, with a final orderbook of US$2.75 billion.

The US dollar-denominated issuance is the first sustainability bond offering from Singapore ..

" " " on dividend payouts for the year ahead, Mr Gupta said that as many regulators around the world have relaxed the restrictions surrounding dividend payouts as well as share buybacks by the banks, he was of the opinion that the MAS is likely to take a similar view and allow the bank to resume their dividend payout to pre-Covid levels." A lot of people missing out on the STI Rally are now jumping in I think.  STI has a long way to climb, to catch up with the strong gains in other overseas markets.  I am very very positive on the STI now.  3,400-3,500 points range is in sight, maybe by end-Q2 or beginning Q3 2021.

Today all 3 banks will test their main resistance and CROSS ....29, 26 and 12
UOB should do this easily  DBS xd 7th Apr

STI will test the 3200 and change it into support from resistance
Go go go

Another question  on succession planning was answered by DBS chairman Peter Seah. &ldquo The answer is succession planning started the day Piyush joined the bank. There are no plans for [Piyush] to retire  or for the board to retire him,&rdquo Seah says. &ldquo At the next AGM he will still be around.&rdquo

HAHA DBS is still at $29 , not allow to drop below this .

Cheers !

Its DBS that supported well at $29 , absorbing any sellers ...still the LARGEST bank here LOL
OCBC and UOB are still trying for their target of $12 and $26 which should be anytime.

Think you guessed their order correctly.

So DBS & UOB had crossed 29 & 26.

OCBC is a little slower.

really interesting to see who will cross their 29, 26 and 12 first and STAY over for today

ONE other important point for 2021 ....result end apr will know if the DIVIDEND CAP Is removed totally or at maybe 80%
Wow if remove ,  banks will fly again as they are paying aro 5% yield for all 3 solid banks . ( best in asia for funds )
all 3 banks should see BETTER Q1 result and w vaccine rolling out for this year ....we can expect more.
STI 3200 is confirmed ....its now what is the next level
Happy investing.

Dbs is staying above now ( xd 7th april ) as expected OCBC is slower ( but this could be the dark horse coming toward end 2021)
Powering STI toward 3200 .......
Super happy investing.
