Is  the new business strategies good?

some changes here : TIH  (SGX: T55), previously known as Transpac Industrial Holdings, had just held its extraordinary general meeting on 29 April 2014 to vote on its name change and a switch in its business direction, among other matters.

Under its previous moniker, TIH was an investment company that provided funding to other entities involved with financial services, industrial services, and real estate. Now, as TIH, it wants to be an asset management firm. The key difference here between TIH&rsquo s current aim and its previous business is that it used to invest in other entities using  its own cash resources   now it wants to be an asset manager that can raise capital from external parties for investing purposes.

Think there is a change of mgt and also their future plan...so they needs lots of money to buy assets to re invest and after that they will give good div but no more mega div Liao...no more reduce in capital also...believe share price will be will support at this level...before mid nov so wrt holders will convert their wrt....

LOVEYOURSELF      ( Date: 29-May-2014 09:23) Posted:

based on the mgt team past very good track records....

there is no reason for the share price  to fall further....

cheers........

If shareholders never convert at $1.28within 6months...will they convert the same things after 24months? One lot ordinary shareholder was given 3wrt to convert..shareholder need to fork out $3000 to convert the wrt...a lot of money le...

I think buying at $1.31 should be a good price. Second execise price, warrants conversion will be 2.28,

the share price might rise, just guess. Trade at your own risk.

It is cheaper to hold wrt la..if mother share up 10c. Wrt also up 10c...wrt gain is 200%..expect a massive dilution due to convertion of wrt within 6months...trade with extra care...

Now the warrant have rise to 0.056, might as well but the Transpac share at 1.31 directly.

Wondering why there are people buying the warrant at 0.056 (0.056 + 1.28 = 1.36).

Sorry I meant $1.28 + $0.03 = $1.31.

Assuming the converted share price (from warrant) is $1.28 and the warrant has a value px of $0.30 (guesstimate), so it's around $1.31?

Can anybody help?

I am new to this warrant thingy. Can i ask the warrants that have been credited to our cdp account can now be sold like normal shares if we decided to? Do we have to pay anything for this warrants (or they are already given to us FOC??) and/or do we need to do anything before we can sell them (if we decided not to exercise them)?
