It depends on how much other F&B companies are willing to stomach an acquisition. Currently, FNN is trading at 30x P/E. For THB to sell their stake would definitely require a payout of a much higher PE than now. Thus, in my Humble opinion, I think it is unlikely.

However, what is likely to catalyse it's stock price would be the dividend, capital reduction, possible synergies with THB which both are behemoths of SEA particularly in Thailand, and a possible acquisition by FNN for another beverage company. I will be looking forward to these corporate actions to see the leaps and bounds on their profits in the years ahead. we must beware that more than half of the worlds population resides in Asia, than in the rest of the World.

FMCG is a particularly bright business especially in SEA where people are beginning to earn more and where population growth can be sustained.

Hi Guys,

When F& N was up for grabs last year there was talk of Coca Cola acquiring it. Now that F& N is a pure f& b stock, do you all think that it will be an even more attractive acquition target for Coca Cola?

Agree if you have the holding power to reap more profit

I believe more corporate restructuring is on hands, so I take my hold position for both counters :) FNN's brand and product positioning is bright in SEA while FCL has hospitality trust and 3 billion of unrecognized profits on hand. Wld choose to hold on after these are realised :) in my humble opinion.

Bought before the distribution of FCL at 5.70.  Sold 1 lot F& N now at 3.48 and 2 lots of FCL at 1.73 equivalent to 6.94.  Making a neat profit of 1.2K - not too back for 1 month of investment.  Take profit - cannot be too greedy

it was hovering below 3.50 last week and finally, the past 2 days manage to inch upwards above 3.50 before being smashed down.

I am keen to await good news from Myanmar brewery  and possible acquisition before  quarter results :)!

Out of my prediction, only 1 out of 3 tornados surfaced.
There are 2 more tornados under Wilmar current price of $3.35.

Current point of $3.35 remains at a high risk point, whereby the slowing economy & low commodity prices will continue to impact Wilmar price.
The 2nd fall will be Wilmar reaching $3.25 point & below.

Today, the future of Wilmar Price will be predicted in advance.
Above offer as a reference, pls do not buy/sell according to above. Pls your own due diligence.
For those that doubt, pls feel free to go ahead :)

Even after all the fear- F& N (Price after EX- current $3.47) + 2 FCL (Price after 1st day EX- $1.52 x2 = $3.04) = $$6.51
Even those that bought in at highest point before F& N @ $6.38, managed to profit.

I once said that F& N will make profit & give that hold/ sell position (2 choice) in Ultimate Prediction 1, but 2FCL must keep.
Current F& N and 2 FCL is even higher than those that sell.

Profit is made to those that bought F& N, before 2 FCL released. I came to end my prediction on F& N.

Fraser & Neave ST: the RSI is oversold
| 2014-01-06 23:45:00

Alternative scenario: the upside breakout of 4.39 would call for 5.48 and 6.12.

4.39 is our pivot point.

Our preference: the downside prevails as long as 4.39 is resistance.

Alternative scenario: the upside breakout of 4.39 would call for 5.48 and 6.12.

Comment: the RSI is below 30. It could either mean that the stock is in a lasting downtrend or just oversold and therefore bound to retrace (look for bullish divergence in this case). The MACD is below its signal line and negative. The configuration is negative. Moreover, the share stands below its 20
