i' m the question on everyone' s mind, why they decide to halt the investigation. i can think of a few possibilities :
- to avoid reputational damage (Serious)
- settlement reached between the parties involved
- something much worse than first thought
whatever it is the core is not good and likely take a while to solve ... unlike another entity, SingPost they are outright and adamant to right the situation.
this one seems to be concealed ... imho if they went ahead to reveal, it might scare away investors and customers more than the financial loss itself.
whatever ... since it is harsh harsh .... better think again .... dyodd

The price went up to 0.119 and came down to 0.102

interesting ..." no merit" in taking action against those involved and for the sake of shareholder.
wondering the board ever being so kind and merciful to retail investors !
could it be that the investigation opened up the pandora' s box and saw the mess ... too much to stomach for the one who called for the egm.
Undertsand he is a biz man and holding 30% around 228m shares while the ceo with 9m shares ...

The board has to shore up investors' confidence ...
Frankly, there is more than meets the eyes ....more complicated but they probably trying to control the damage.
If nothing, why fired the CEO, .. paying remuneration that does not justified. When there is greed, there is bound to have wrongdoing. IMHO

- Investigation findings: The probe found that FYSCS made unverifiable payments of approximately $3 million to a third party, KWW Consultancy, where services did not appear to have been rendered. Other issues included a $4.5 million acquisition and questionable expense reimbursements.
- Action taken: The company has decided not to take further action against any individuals flagged in the investigation.
Something does seem to add up .... since they opened up the box and discovered questionable findings with huge sum of money involved .... now they decide to close.
The price seems to hold steady at this moment ..... what are your thoughts ???

SINGAPORE: Mainboard-listed Fu Yu Corp has terminated group chief executive officer (CEO) David Seow for gross default and misconduct, the mainboard-listed precision manufacturer announces.
His termination was effective Oct 31 as he ceased to be a director of the company and all its subsidiaries and related entities.
The board confirmed there are no other matters concerning Seow' s cessation that need to be brought to shareholders' attention at this juncture.
The 40-year-old, who held a nine million share interest in Fu Yu, had been group CEO since January 2021.
