The clarification of   Danantara Chief Investment Officer might have slow down the price falling but the devils are in the details of how they proposed to take control of the exports and how the controls will affect the businesses.

Danantara Chief Investment Officer Pandu Sjahrir went on Bloomberg TV to actively walk back the aggressive state monopoly rhetoric in an emergency effort to calm international markets.
His live updates completely change the structural risk assessment for coal companies..

He said:
The idea is to increase transparency, accountability, traceability and of course it will have to be market friendly. We are listening to the players, to the market. We want to make sure this is accretive both for producers and for shareholders involved.

This will be an operator of business, not a regulator.

He confirmed that Danantara is bypassing standard slow-moving civil service channels and is aggressively hiring elite private sector commodities experts to run the operational pass through.

This official pivot directly confirms that the state has no intention of disrupting commercial contracts, breaking up joint ventures, or destroying shareholder value. The entity is being structured strictly to ensure automated tax traceability without breaking open-market mechanics.
