CD is operating in a protected industry with good profit margin for decades so it's complacency.
Grab & Uber are both operating at bleeding investors' cash injections to the tens of billions over the years.
How long can these 2 biggies bleed before investors get frustrated and before its drivers have the incentives removed is anyone's guess.

so if point A go to Point B is $12
take from point A to point C = $6, then point C to Point B = $6, total up = Free
Lunch time transport also free. i comfort shareholder but i take grab.
I hope 1 day they also give incentive for passenger who take grab lol

It's an Uber and grab show. One day both will co-exist at a lower price high volume level. CD may exist as a minor participant or a pliant player. What is certainly history is it's past ROE.
come to think of it...if grab kill uber or uber kill grab it will be back to sq one when one operator monopolised the market yet again.... best is to keep both. at least rider got different option...

CD is going down. Years of fat profits from what is inherently a controlled market is gone.
Heard grab give about $2 per call for driver if can hit their target..so if get 25 calls per day....the taxi is foc...pls use all ur 20 rides $6 ...enjoys..
