Record date(Book closure date)  - date that you have to officially own the shares in order to receive the dividend

Ex - dividend - usually 2 to 4 trading days (depending on time taken by a trade to be completely fufilled in the exchange) prior to record date.

Its simple as this: You wont get the dividend if you buy on the ex-dividend dates (But one who sells it on a ex dividend date having bought the share atleast a day before theex dividend date will still be entitled for the dividend).

XD means the stock is trading  ex-dividend. In short, current stockholder has received a recent dividend payment and whoever purchases the stock during XD will not receive the dividend.

earnings announcement 24 Apr, ex-dividend 7 May & if i recall correctly mgt stated in previous AGM co committed to distribute bulk%of net earnings to shareholders going forward

m vested small (so i don' t hv to keep an eye, just let it grow organically) since last yr for dividend yield & cap appreciation 

 

one of the best stock soon a 1 dollar
