Top Glove Make or Break

This is a low tech fast moving goods biz.
The key is cheap labor and automation, which Malaysia does not have advantage.

 

Demand will be there, but extraordinary demand and profit will not be there. The rabbit will not come anymore.
How is it going to compete with China and other countries glove prdocuers? Some will be subsidized by government.

 

Will have to wait excess gloves production capacity and gloves stock drop. Similar to low oil price during covid time... Most ppl WFH not driving. Gloves are still needed by hospital for surgeries and industry and lab still etc, permanent demand is still there and growing... Top gloves have been growing last 32 yrs since1991,not just during pandemic. But this will take at least 6 mths to 1yr.

Yes, cant keep focusing investing 1 losing stock. Focus on investing other stocks too... Look away for awhile best 👍 👍

Need extreme patience, best to hold and buy only when there is clearer picture. Put fresh money in other investment or other stocks 1st is my suggestion. One example I experience keppel bought at 9...drop gradually in 5 yrs to 5+. I average dow during pandemic at 4.6. After 9 yrs now I am even out, in between I collect dividends and buy other stocks. Take a deep breath, cool down and stratigize.

Don't chase lost clause and average down . Put your money in some better stock. Shortist will continue shirt this stock, trust me.

23/9/22: Yahoo Finance painted a faint picture, cited oversupply situation. Look at it price chart from Oct2017 till Jan2020, it shares price never fall below $1.44, also pay dividend. Current over supply was caused by Pandemic. Glove manufacturing main ingredient is natural rubber which Malaysia is the World Main Supplier, the oversupply in fact raise Top Glove to be King. So as long as good P/E and proper Management, at current price of $0.2 is a good buy.
