Thanks for info. I think I should rush in. If you see someone buying 0.28 500 lots today that is me. If not, I am still thinking.

I cannot agree with you more. But we have to be prudent. How to fight with the 5th richest family in Indonesia? Just accept and if you wish, jump to GAR. Not much lower can it go.

If we can remember the Ellipsiz (BIX) example : The offer at 0.90+ was not accepted and then the price plunged straight to 0.40+ and then to sub-0.20 and stayed there for a few years. After a shares merge it went to 0.48 there about and is now around 0.38. There was a private buy-over buy a major share holder thereafter. It is still listed but just look at the trading - none most of the days. Only sometimes 100 shares just to show that it is green! It is a very good company though. Met the bosses on the way to set up their factory in Suzhou many years ago hence I know they are serious businessmen who don't play with their own shares for self-profiting. Will the same happen to Indofood?

Sell high at IPO, buy low at Delist
What a great shorting skill! |

People who are not iron-teeth would have migrated to 0.265 and are in the back today. Now can only buy 0.275 but 0.2775 (Indo) vs 0.275 (GAR) it is still worth it.
high was $4++
if you didn' t bot at this price then consider a bit lucky
once they collected 90% and above then will auto delist from SGX like M1
if they are not lying that they are curretly holding 81% ++ then my advise to you is to accept their offer cos you cannot beat them for sure......

I didn' t accept the offer as bought many years ago at high price.
Can someone advise if I understand correctly offerer get 90Pct from those that they have not already owned, then they can take for us at S$0.28 under the law?
If they didn' t get 90pct, it means that counter will not be delisted and will most likely trade lower than $0.28?

We need to block them to acquire 90%, vote NO to the buy-out offer, there' s still chance!
" The offer is conditional on Indofood Sukses Makmur receiving acceptances of at least 90 percent of Indofood Agri&rsquo s outstanding shares, it said. Once the free float of the shares falls below 10 percent required minimum threshold, Indofood Sukses Makmur can compulsorily acquire the remaining shares." |

Got people queuing to sell at 0.28. But who would buy?

Both families founders have passed away. I believe the children will grow the companies bigger and being young (like below 60) they have at least 20 years to do it. I believe GAR will become the next Wilmar of Indonesia. To merge with Indofood will be the first step.

| The lowest was 0.183. Only bones left but no one was interested to buy. But why fall in love with it especially now that GAR is cheaper? To me, GAR is a better choice compared to Indofood even if the latter is not privatised. I even think that GAR and Indofood will merge one day. |
