CDG can' t even post a 1% earnings growth, how to expect share price to run up?
Previously despite good results, share price fell
Maybe tommorow might share price will go up.
on a side note,
this transport minister is bad for CDG.
Ever since he took up transport portfolio...COE keep going up.
Expensive COE hits transport companies directly.

Basically taxis / PVH business has structural issues, made worse by Iran war. Tough situation.
Drag down by taxi/pte hire. 2q not optimistic due to ongoing war/oil crisis

Latest news around ComfortDelGro remains generally positive,
with earnings growth driven mainly by overseas operations,
though the Singapore taxi business is still under pressure.
Key recent developments:
- FY2025 revenue crossed S$5 billion for the first time, while net profit rose 9.4% to S$230.3 million. Growth came from stronger London bus margins, ERP 2.0 work, and overseas acquisitions like Addison Lee.
- Overseas business now contributes more than 50% of group revenue, reducing dependence on Singapore taxis. The UK and Australia operations are becoming increasingly important growth drivers.
- ComfortDelGro is expanding into autonomous vehicles and robotaxis:
- Signed an MOU with Hello Robotaxi for China and overseas deployment.
- Exploring robotaxi deployment in London after trials in Singapore and China.
- Started autonomous shuttle and robotaxi trials in Punggol with Pony.ai.
- The company is investing over S$200 million into a next-generation driving centre in Choa Chu Kang, with AI-assisted training systems and expanded driving education facilities.
- EV infrastructure is another growth area. CDG-linked ventures secured contracts for HDB fast-charging hubs across Singapore.
- Analysts still see ComfortDelGro as a relatively defensive dividend stock:
- Lim & Tan target price around S$1.68 with dividend yield near 5.8%.
- RHB remains positive due to overseas transport growth and contract renewals.
They need to have a longer term plan about what to do when driverless cars arrive
After going XD of 4.59 cents on 4 May, the share price rebounded from the lower channel support &mdash an area repeatedly tested/
