This TEC company had a bad record in taking over a listed company. Most of the time, it backed out before a definitive agreement can be signed.There was also a recent case related to a listed company by them but failed and ended up delisted. Can t recall which company is it.

Got to take back what I said. Too many convertible bonds outstanding. Hope someone can point out how many shares will be issued on a fully diluted basis.
UOBKH are in the business of deal makers. They will get their commission in shares as mentioned which is common. Likely they will push up the price further after moving to mainboard if the.
Looks like a really good story if the assets are real. China does not want to buy coal from Australia but could not stop as they are dependent on their steel industry and Mongolia is just next door.

Uob will get a 4.88% of the new company, after the acquisition goes thru, as introducer fee. Looks like have uob backing?

Just to add, you have to deduct S$15m negative net assets of the company from the valuation too.

The annoucement say value the company at $200m, means it will open at 20cents? The announcement is very vague on the valuation as they said there will be a placement of shares (looks like someone wants a pie too). Will be volatile.
Any thoughts on the acquisition? Buying over a $1 billion dollar company plus listing on mainboard & share consolidation. Let?s see if the price can move up later.
