selling of the rights sharesonly start next Monday. if you sell now, you need to buy back before end of trading day.

No u cant. As long as shares not in your CDP account when u execute the sell, u are doing naked short which needs to cover back at end of day

your info is wrong. only 6% of capacity resume, not 50%. how to get 50% when conutries have not open up the borders yet.

Does SIA need the rights issue in the first place? June already start to have 50% of capacity. Seems a short term pain? Should it follow SATS and issue bonds instead?

Does it make more sense for SIA to get low interest loan from temasek rather than to go through such a damaging exercise to existing shareholders (i dont refer to people who bought recently but those who buy at $10+)

Call your broker or CDP.
Don't sell if you don't have shares in CDP.

Will share price go up in anticipation of share dilution and bad result?
Today should be able to see direction of share price more clearly. Will it be a pump to dump situation?

Share price is not maths. Its demand and supply based on emotions

Value_finder      ( Date: 05-Jun-2020 07:03) Posted:

Sia shares is now 2.5 times more. Assuming same profit, does it mean price needs to be 2.5 times lower than pre rights price to maintain same PE ratio and EPS?

Why those who bought 10+ didn't cut loss at first sign of trouble?
Many companies issue rights so SIA is no exception when needed money.
Anyway this created an opportunity for ppl to buy SIA cheap which is a good thing. No complain about that.

Trade with caution no contra no short and DYODD
