I went through the right issue comms again. There are only $3.5B worth of MCB issued. SIA can issue up to $6.5B more on similar terms if required.
The pro forma effect if all the current MCB and additional issues are all converted is a book value of $4.24 by 2030. Given the potential impact of the massive dilution if addtition MCB are issued, an investor might request for 50% margin of safety to buy current MCB off the market, or $2.12. Then $2.12 x 37/100 shares =
$0.7844. So the MCB are worth a look any price below this.

Accreted Principal Amount : In respect of each S$1,000 in principal amount of Rights MCBs shall mean (i) in the case of the conversion of Rights MCBs on the Maturity Date, S$1,806.11,
Conversion Price : S$4.84 per Share, subject to standard anti-dilution adjustments.
So, at maturity, you will get $1806.11 / 4.84 = 373.14 shares. Every 1000 MCB, you will get 373.14 shares.
As the MCB price is fluctuating, you' ll need to calculate the technical conversion rate based on the current market price ....

SQ' s future is Southeast Asia, better focus here. Longhaul and premium market should be cultivated from entire region. Mass market travel leave it to Air Asia.
India is too competitive and prices are rock bottom. Leave that to Indigo.
But being there to diversify is ok but not till make loss. Good that Jet has gone bust and AI likely soon too. Vistara will be last reigning king with business class cabin.

i have 1 at 4.30 + 2 lots at 4.20
think dun bother to average down...since will take months or even yrs to recover to even 4.20
rather buy Vicom and capland
