Wondering why there' s such a build up of volume, like someone' s accumulating the stock.  It' s a mystery, still figuring what it has to do with UE. anyone has answers?

" Growth in mature beer markets like Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines are expected to flatten or fall in the coming years. But Asia' s thirst for beer is being whet by countries like Indonesia, Vietnam and India, where the markets are projected to grow between 8 and 10 per cent a year.

With the Asian beer market growing by about 5 per cent every year, international brewers are hoping to boost their market shares in Asia..... "

Charoen has so many vehicles right.  UE business is not related to ThaiBev right?

OCBC approaching Charoen selling UEM stake...is that a good sign?

not surprising. there is no reason to go up in the first place. CS is placing debt in Thai to buy UE, if mkt news is to be believed. Thai should have broken 60cts. Just surprised how irrational is the market.

OCBC buy WHB, dropped from 1040 to 901, thai rumoured to buy UE, price shot up from 62 to 70. where is the logic? vested in both so observing these two stocks and market reaction to their news/rumours.

Need experts' advice...If I queue and sell at .69 I will make as much as the div on Aug 25...so do I sell now in anticipation of price drop aft ex div....or do I hold out for the div n sell later when price goes up (hopefully) again....In a dilema

Hi M Kors. ..my understanding is this round of $0.007 per share div was announced in the last earnings results Aug4. ..so each earnings results from various companies will have their own div (if any and dependent on their profitability)...Nite!

Hi again MKors. ...record date is Aug 27. That means you can only unload AFTER Aug27 if you want the $0.007 dividends....All the best!
