46% reported short sells for today. Similar amount of shorts the previous few days. Traps already laid in advance.
Could be right. At 60 plus cents I bought ThaiBev, was advised bb pushing the price up. Then what happened? Price continued up and up. Broke the high and continued.
Anyway, with this kind of negative news, there' s sure to be some selling.
ThaiBev is Charoen' s co. He is involved in a UE takeover strategy. I don know to what extent the price increase is due to this. For one thing, the Thais are more up to date, but we are Singaporeans and in the dark.
Anyway, I don have this stock, just kaypo as usual.

Wonder what kept the price of ThaiBev up so high and for so long. Somemore, a day ago, on 30th there was a long white candle with volume indicating buyers flooded in to push the price up.
The loss of the Myanmar mkt would be negative. Question is why was there a runup just before the suspension?
Is there something else not known?
But do agree to go cautious on this stock given the bad news is released and made known.
monday short to hedge yr position. dont hestitate.
I think it's not a good news at all. They essentially lost Myanmar beer market which is experiening significant growth.

Oops, sorry, missed the price today, yep dropped a bit to 72.5 cents, but still okay compared to other stocks. Intra day it dipped to 70.4 but managed to close with a higher price.

Still holding quite well, it closed above yesterday' s price. Several counters shed a lot today! ThaiBev did well.
Drop to 0.420 ok? Haha
