Many years ago, not happy with its small dividend, sold off all my RMG from my cash account. After a while, buy back using srs account as my thought on RMG changed as I reason that it is a growth stock with increasing old folks in spore. Then chose to collect dividend shares rather than cash dividend. It turns out RMG is my best stock, better than OCBC.. Thought of collecting a bit more.
profit, rev n div up slightly....am slowly accumulate my adding....px is building a base up...dyodd....

May be some good news in the 1H financial announcement so people start buying. I bought this counter from $1.50 at every 10 cents down to $1.00. I need at least $1.25 to breakeven.

i bought at $1.50 and didnt accumulate even at this price level now. the fundamental of the company is fine as it is still in a money-making zone, but there is no catalyst for it to convince me that it will spike another 50% from this $1 now to $1,50 unless one day, there is an institutional player who starts to accumulate, like not long ago, it spikes up to 1.20 due to some pushing and fell back due to poor results in earning and trade tension. secondly, I left it there now as I am waiting for the price to probably hit back up to $1.20 to exit and move to other exchange.
I agree to you that the 4 cents to a dollar is good compare to CPF interest, I was like you 2 years back, but the capital fall of 50 cents to me is meaningless when you look back at that miserable dividend, and on top of the slow growth and no potential catalyst.
I want to exit, just probably at a higher price later IF there is a chance.
anyway, if thats the case, you should even consider a REIT, like mapletree industrial or so, if theres another correction due to interest rate hike or geo poltiical tension : |
