Thai King Bhumibol died at 3.52pm Bangkok time today and mourning for a year. I wonder the Thai government will ban drinking in public during the mourning.

I think the issue is more fear of uncertainty. I have sold off all my Thai related unit trust that I have bought for long time and earn some money. Granted I lose some from the peak. but better secure it first as you will never know what will happen as this is never happen before.
I hope nothing major.

R ep of the likely successor is not fantastic too. Can go read it up. If people manage to ride the wave and earn from country risk, good for them.But anyhow attribute is like saying motorcyclists who wear helmets get into accidents easier in Singapore.

I think so too. Seeing such things in the SJ far too often. Anyway, the end of an era is probably very near, from the way events are unfolding. There are real concerns. The present monarch has truely been a pillar of stability since 1946. Anyway, I believe if TB falls further, it' d be a really opportunity to pick up. DYODD as always.
