paging for @redeye bro, looks like most of the penny stocks today picked up steam! while the big counters are slowing down. seems like the observation is relatively accurate.

I agree. Singapore players are mostly contra type, those with real money, who actually buy and hold, is relatively small. Sad state of affairs. Wait for SGX to wake up and realise it actually has to promote the stock market too.

Furthermore, the derivatives market is also not doing well. SGX used to be able to hide behind derivatives. Now no more. 

And with a new derivative exchange coming on stream soon, SGX will have to start panicking sooner rather than later.

Penny stocks getting a hammer today...Catalist index down 0.5% whilst the large stock indices like the STI up nearly 1%....this stock one of those getting struck...but could be a chance for a good entry price if looking long term.

LOL...yeah, my description of what trying to say perhaps not the best and any firm evidence simply personal observation and can be right off the mark...but feel their is just an definite amount of money allocated to SG market and when interest in one sector of the pool of stocks the money tilts that way, then when swings back it goes the other...even if your stock announces something great if the interest in the SG is on big counters and your counter is a small counter then no matter how great the announcement people not interested...just need to be patient till they swing back...just a nuance of SG market I feel...
