Thanks for pointing out the NBIM announcement.
I took a look at their underlying analysis. Looks like they only ever held 0.47% of the company before they sold down. I don' t think this can explain the recent share price decline.
In the meantime Jardine is slowly buying more shares.

Fund sold , price need to correct to lower before meaningful rebound ,target think $23 plus level from charting point....
The fund does not announce exclusions until it has completed sales of its positions, so as not to affect the share price at the time of the transaction.
Now we know the reason why it is on downtrend since October. Hopefully tomorrow will be a start of the rebound

The fund sold its holdings in Jardine Matheson Holdings, Jardine Cycle & Carriage and PT Astra International Tbk due to a risk that they were contributing to, or responsible for, ?severe environmental damage?, it said late on Thursday (Feb 29).
The decisions were based on recommendations from the Norwegian fund?s council on ethics, which said PT Astra International?s Martabe Gold Mine in Sumatra was widening its area of operation and posing a threat to the Tapanuli orangutan.

You need to predict where the market is going over your investment period in order to make money, but that is not the same thing as the market always being right over every time period.
The reason why Jardine dropped is in the guidance the company gave, which is more bearish than the results themselves indicates. I found it surprising however that the company paid out such a high dividend despite its bearish guidance. My guess is that the guidance is overly conservative.

There is really no reason why Jardine drop so much despite good results and high dividend... but the market is always right
Gosh, share price still heading down despite increased dividend ... are funds heading out of our market? So many stocks down these days ...

Is the dividend paid subject to US tax as it's paid in USD?
Just declared this evening Usd0.90 dividend..
Looks like Jardine may take long while to even reach $28
Can this counter go back to 30 soon?
The result is a continuation of the status quo, so should not result in any material changes.
Hopefully for shareholders the share price movement follows the trend I referenced previously, down before the results due to election uncertainty, and up in the year after the results once certainty is perceived and people are more comfortable buying more capital goods.

I am guessing it got to do with Indonesia election, possibly Jardine is not in good terms with the new President ?

Coming to year low soon...bear bear..the stocks has crashed..
