This is something I thought of before.
It was back at the time when Spore Pools had a special draw with $10m as the prize money.
I had thought about what I would do if I win that $10m prize.
I dun need $10m for my family and myself. Instead of letting all that money sit in the bank doing nothing, giving some of it
away to the people who matters to me is one way to use money and love people. And then the idea hit me to set aside say
$2m for myself and to invest the rest in Ascendas and a few other good REITs which pay above 6% dividend yield.
6% of $8,000,000 is $480,000.
Keep $150k to $200k for myself and family to fund our living expenses.
The balance $280k to $330k .... I will use it to pay a monthly " pension" to the people who matters to me.
Each will receive $1000 per mth for 12 mths.
The following year' s payout will depend on how much dividend income I get.
This way, I can use money to love many people for a very long time.
I will also throw an all expenses paid 2-week vacation in Japan.
The entire coach will have only my extended family.
I will hire a local tour guide to plan everything and make all the arrangements.
The tour itinerary will be fully customized and tailoured to our needs.
Airfare, accomodation and food all covered. Only shopping is on their own.
I think that will be fun and memorable.
Budget for this vacation is 200k.
If there is a cost overrun, there is room to accomodate another 100k.
That' s the power of money.
That' s what having lots of money can empower us to do.
Until then, this is just a thought. A dream.
But then again, it is good to dream at times.
Its fun. And emotionally rewarding.

That' s passive dividend income of $51,772.46 per month.
But first, she has to figure out a way to come home safely without being abducted until her family pays a ransom of S$10.3m.
Not safe for her to travel by car or by coach. Armed men can easily stop a car or coach by force to kidnap her.
Fly back is much safer. To hijack a plane is too big a job for the local criminal syndicates there.
But still, she has to figure out a way to move safely from where she is to the nearest airport.

In a recent conference, Tom Lee spoke about Bitcoin and Ethereum in general. He mentioned that cryptos have a 4-yr cycle and
that no one who bought Bitcoin and held for at least 3 years had lost money. Cryptos are currently going thru a crypto winter which
is at its final stages. Cryptos have probably bottomed out and are now still hovering near the lows. By the end of the year, they will
be much higher than where they are now. His prediction for Bitcoin by end of 2026 is $200k - $250k and for Ethereum is $9000 to
$22000.
So far, Tom Lee has been right 100% of the time with respect to price direction though his timing is off. History has shown that his
price targets were eventually reached though it took a year or two longer than he had predicted. Which to me is okay so long as
those price targets are reached. So for me, what is relevant is his prediction for Ethereum. He said $9000 to $22000 by end of 2026.

Say dividend is 15.2 cts per share, dividend income per year is $168,694.92.
Or $14,057.91 per month of passive income from dividends.

what is happening. In other words, shell-shocked until Bay Jin Chu and Bay Ting Tongue.
Never mind about $1500 per share.
Whether I can wait for $500 per share is already a big question mark.
