Currently because of results coming out... CEO JANET TAN and other insiders cannot buy the undervalued shares of A-SONIC AERO.
But, after the results of A-SONIC AERO are released later this week or next week.... lets see if CEO JANET TAN  resume buying shares...
Recap:
Current Market Capitalisation of A-SONIC AERO = SGD$35.087 million (at current price of 60 cents)

Recap:
Current Market Capitalisation of A-SONIC AERO = SGD$35.087 million (at current price of 60 cents)

Based on the information memorandum prepared by the collective sale committee, the indicative independent third party market valuation of its office units was S$6.6 million, above the carrying value in its accounts of around S$1.4 million, as at June 30, A-Sonic said.

It also noted that the memorandum had a " sale price for illustration only" that put the " approximate gross sale proceeds" of the office units at S$9.3 million.

| (iv) Our Group Cash and cash equivalents stood at approximately  S$40.521 million  as at 31 December 2020.. |
Don' t spread nonsense la... the only issue right now is it is in SGX watchlist . And although it has fulfill all the criteria to exit, it has not reached its daily market cap of $40 million. But at today' s price, it is almost there because if you take into consideration the warrants if converted to mother share, the cap will be welll over $45 million... I expect more good news coming, as I already hinted it will cheong this week below.
and another issue worth pointing is that many who have the shares are not willing to sell, and with over 60% in the hands of the insiders, there are not much sellers in the market at the moment. But that may change when price hit above 70 c which I expect soon, and more warrants are converted. But watch for the good news first....

A-Sonic' s receives notice of International Plaza collective sale units valued above book

A-SONIC AEROSPACE said on Monday that it has received a notice from the collective sale committee of International Plaza, where it has office units.

The mainboard-listed company has an aggregate of around 3,810 square feet of office units at International Plaza, and it is occupying the units, it said in the exchange filing.

A-Sonic said that there is no assurance of the collective sale and no certainty on the expected valuation. It added: " Shareholders of the company and potential investors should exercise caution when trading in the shares of the company and refrain from taking any action in respect of their shares in the company which may be prejudicial to their interests."

Edmund Tie & Company, the sole marketing agent for the collective sale of International Plaza, announced last Friday that owners with at least 80 per cent in both strata area and share value of all the units in the development have given their consent for the collective sale.

It added that International Plaza will potentially be the largest collective sale in Singapore' s history both in terms of number of units and value, but the reserve price was not disclosed in Friday' s announcement.

The Straits Times previously reported that International Plaza was looking to launch a collective sale in excess of S$2.6 billion back in 2018.

A-Sonic shares closed at 58.5 Singapore cents on Friday, up one cent or 1.7 per cent. At that price, the company has a market capitalisation of about S$34.2 million.

Hard to believe there' s very interest here. But when you know of the 5,300 shareholders, about 5000 each has 10,000 shares or less combining to a total of 10.8% of the entire shareholding., you will understand better.
so my point is if you want to buy for contra or play short, don' t. Because even at today' s situation there' s are little sellers or many buyers. Those with very small holdings, either already left or not selling. And those already left are definitely leaving with a smiling face.
for those not vested, it' s a little too late to come in and reaps bountiful fruits. You can only watch.

Let me sell a bit of a cue.
the company is desparate to get out of SGX watchlist. They have successfully asked for an extension of time to meet watchlist exit requirements, among which is to ensure the company has average market cap of 40 million, which works out to be at least 0.69 a share. Now it is in the 0.70+ range, which I predicted weeks ago... Janet and her merry-women, will seize the bull by the horn and ensure it will stay there for the next six months.and now with the offer BONUS warrants, which can be exercised for the next three months AT ONLY $0.08, there is even no reason to sell below 0.70. Even after 6 months, you may want to watch to observe further. Why is Janet so desparate to get out of the watchlist? Ahhhh, here lies the million mystery to her desire and determination . The is a corporate development which she can' t get going until she' s out of it, a development that MAY turn A-sonic into another UMS or AEM even. Otherwise, you ask yourself, why bother so much? Heavily vested.

A-Sonic Aerospace proposes bonus issue of warrants

A-Sonic Aerospace is proposing a bonus issue of up to some 14.62 million warrants on the basis of one warrant for every four existing shares, which would see it raising gross proceeds of up to S$1.17 million.

Each warrant will entitle the warrant holder to subscribe for one new share in the company at an exercise price of S$0.08, which is a discount of 88 per cent to the last transacted price of S$0.665 per share on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) on May 25, the day before the announcement was made.

Assuming all the bonus warrants are fully exercised and converted into new shares, the gross proceeds will amount to S$1.17 million, and will be used towards general corporate and working capital purposes, said A-Sonic, which is on the SGX watch-list.

The bonus warrants are exercisable for a three month period from the date of issuance, after which any remaining unexercised warrants will lapse.

Based on the company' s existing share capital of about 58.48 million shares, up to 14.62 million warrants will be issued by the company. Assuming the bonus warrants are fully exercised and converted into new shares, the company' s issued share capital would increase to about 73.1 million shares.

The bonus warrants will be issued in line with the general share issue mandate approved by shareholders at the company' s annual general meeting held last month.

Explaining the rationale for the issuance, A-Sonic said that the bonus warrants are to reward shareholders for their support, as well as to improve the trading liquidity of the company' s shares.
Woooooo...
wow! 0.73/0.75 now, up 10% !
and no sellers !! Surely the insiders who together holds 70% will not sell!
won' t be surprised it will hit more than nav price of 0.82.
