ACROMEC secures S$5.6 million in works for customer in biotechnology research and development sector SINGAPORE, 28 April 2020 - Acromec Limited (&ldquo ACROMEC&rdquo , or the &ldquo Company&rdquo and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ), an established specialist engineering service provider in the field of controlled environments serving mainly the healthcare, biomedical, pharmaceutical, research and academia sectors, has secured a sub-contract work worth a cumulative amount of S$5.6 million for a customer in the biotechnology research and development sector to fit out for the customer&rsquo s state-ofthe-art production suites and distribution centres for gene expression solutions, including the production of test kits for distribution across Asia (the &ldquo Project&rdquo ). The Project would involve fast-paced design and build of cleanrooms (Class 10,000 and 100,000) along with a controlled warehouse area and is expected to be completed in September 2020. Said Mr Lim Say Chin, Executive Chairman and Managing Director of ACROMEC, &ldquo We are greatly encouraged to have been able to continue securing new contracts during challenging times posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe it is not by coincidence that the Project involves our support for a customer in the field of genomics. This speaks of the confidence that our customers have in our capabilities. We will continue to work hard towards delivering quality services in such times, leveraging on our established track record and proven expertise as controlled environment specialist engineers.&rdquo The Project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net tangible assets per share of the Group for the current financial year ending 30 September 2020. To the best of the Directors&rsquo knowledge, none of the Directors and controlling shareholders of the Company have any interests, direct or indirect, in the Project, other than through their respective shareholdings in the Company.
Now traders are playing all the low based medicals ...because low based is good ..upside unlimited.all.huat ah
