Oue is one of the v undervalue ppty stock, its nav is like $4.21.
The ST article highlight the above fact which include the Riady family' s significant control of ~70%
It could easily be privatised by them if they want to, although I doubt so,,, at least not immediate yet.

Same writer on HOng Fok but this time on OUE. NAV 4.95. Trading at 155 now. Lets go
50 collyer quay was built from a car-park called Oversea Union House. The valuation of a car-park although in prime land could not be more than $200m. Let' s say it is $300m. At this price, Oue Bayfront has more than quadrupled in price. This isn' t surprising as my family' s executive HDB flat bought at a resettlement price of about $114k is now worth from 400 to 500k. It too has quadrupled, not to talk about a prime ppty in sg. wyeo
I' ve just looked into the value of Oue Bayfront, 50% of which was sold recently at a valuation of $1267.50 for the whole. In 2008, this same building known as 50 collyer quay has a fair valuation of $596.8m. So this is another of Oue ppties that has doubled in price. So its nav of 4.21 which should be more because of its many share-buybacks is backed by prime ppties in sg which ' ve increased quite a lot in value. wyeo.
