Don't know who is the seller. Let them sell first, wait and see. Maybe can buy back if it goes back to 90+ cents. Already wiiped out 30% in the last 2 weeks.

Ofi, whether is private sale or IPO listing, is the only catalyst to push up to price to what we think is the real value of Olam. Otherwise the price is just going to yo-yo for time being.
The CEO addressed this in the Q& A. Personally I think what he said in terms of why this was the case makes a lot of sense, and also that his assertion that in the end it is simply a timing issue is credible.

No it will not be as early as that. Olam needs to wait for the inventories situation I mentioned in my previous post to stabilise first, and then have a financial track record on that basis. My guess would be 28-29.
But I don' t think we will have to wait that long to see special divs coming from OFI. I think, prior to an IPO, squeezing down that S$7bn+ of inventories further will release more capital allowing them to pay some out. |

LoL, should sack the management team for their integrity. I think shareholders got to WAIT LONG LONG for good special dividend. Still, I think privatization is better for temasek and shareholders

With all the bank loans sucured , ofi ipo should be around the corner , end 2026 or early 2027
