Taking a break today before next dive
VERY INTERESTING SYPNOSIS CONCERNING ISDN' S STAKE IN PT FUNDA KONSTRUKSI ENGINEERING

ISDN  had acquired a 51% stake in PT Funda Konstruksi Engineering, and in its previous announcement specifically said PT Funda already had a pipeline of more than 10 hydropower projects with planned capacity exceeding 300 MW.

A few important points:

ISDN ownership: 51% of PT Funda.

PT Funda' s pipeline: 10+ projects, > 300 MW planned capacity.

PT Funda' s engineering team had completed 70+ hydropower projects across Asia, totaling about 4,500 MW.

In Indonesia, the team had completed 4 grid-connected projects totaling 57 MW.

PT Funda was already appointed as EPC contractor for Lau Biang 3 before ISDN acquired the stake.

But there is an important distinction.

The wording was not that PT Funda had identified 10 more projects for ISDN specifically.

It said PT Funda had a &ldquo robust pipeline of over 10 projects&rdquo with planned capacity above 300 MW.

So, for ISDN  investors would be under the notion to  interpret this as:

PT Funda &rarr 10+ potential hydro projects / > 300 MW pipeline &rarr ISDN owns 51% &rarr potential future opportunity for ISDN.

It does not mean all 10 projects have already been awarded to ISDN or that ISDN will definitely own/develop all 300 MW.

This is nevertheless quite significant when combined with ISDN' s existing hydro portfolio.

The PT Funda acquisition effectively gives ISDN a much larger project pipeline and EPC capability, rather than relying only on its existing operating plants.

By digging  further into the above,  the official ISDN announcement confirms the 10+ projects / > 300 MW pipeline, but there is an important limitation:

ISDN did not publicly name all 10+ projects individually in that announcement.

What can be established:

PT Funda' s team had:

10+ hydropower projects of more than 300 MW planned capacity
70+ hydropower projects completed across Asia, totaling about 4,500 MW.

4 Indonesian grid-connected projects completed, totaling 57 MW.

Already appointed as EPC contractor for ISDN' s Lau Biang 3 before the acquisition.

The particularly interesting part for ISDN shareholders is that its 2025 Annual Report says having an in-house EPC team gives ISDN a competitive edge by enabling proactive identification of project opportunities, while ISDN continues developing additional mini-hydropower projects.

Could the 300+ MW become ISDN' s future hydro portfolio?

Potentially yes, but investors should not assume all 300 MW will become ISDN-owned plants.

There are three possible ways ISDN can benefit:

Route Potential benefit to ISDN
ISDN develops/owns projects.

Recurring electricity tariff income.

PT Funda wins EPC contracts EPC revenue/profit.

PT Funda provides O& M Recurring service income.

This is actually why investors think  the Funda acquisition is more significant than the S$2m purchase price initially suggests.

ISDN is moving from simply owning/operating hydro plants toward controlling more of the development &rarr EPC &rarr operation &rarr maintenance chain.

However, this is worth investigating further, because if investors can identify even 5&ndash 10 of those projects and establish their MW, development stage and ownership structure, it could be  estimated what the Funda pipeline could eventually contribute to ISDN.

And there is a particularly important clue:

300+ MW is roughly 6&ndash 7 times the 44.6 MW capacity ISDN was targeting after its fourth and fifth plants.

ISDN said those two plants would bring total installed capacity to 44.6 MW and generate approximately S$25m annual recurring tariff income.

So if even a fraction of Funda' s 300+ MW pipeline eventually converts into ISDN-owned assets, the long-term hydro earnings potential could be considerably larger than the current 44.6 MW portfolio.

Potentially, Intermediate/Long Term Investors will be monitoring the above very closely.

Due diligence warranted.

ISDN today' s price action by dragged down by AEM fall as ISDN hit a low of 0.655 and closed unchanged at 0.66 compared to yesterday' s closing  price even in the face of    even much muted  Shortists' continued    sales of 281,230 shares compared to yesterday' s Shortists' sales of 924,000 shares.

As long ISDN does not close below  its Daily Short Term Pivot Close of 0.645
followed by a breakdown below 0.62, its Short Term Daily Price Action may still have a chance for a rebound first viewing its Daily STOCHASTIC/RSI having touched oversold zone at ' 0'   already.

Breaking below 0.62 may portend ISDN to grind down lower to try downside of its Intermediate Pivot Support at 0.54 which may provide a stronger layer of support.

Due diligence warranted.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF ISDN AS ON 3RD SEPTEMBER  2026

B) End Weekly Intermediate Term Pivot Support Close at 0.54.

C) End Monthly Long Term Pivot Support Close at 0.47.

TECHNICAL SYNOPSIS

As long as ISDN' s Daily ShortTerm Pivot Close at 0.645 is not violated its Daily Price Action has the potential of grind up further to  retest  its previous all time highs between 0.82 and 0.85    before a minor pullback may surface to prompt a profit taking round  to reset a daily  overbought technical condition.

Violating 0.645 till date, may portend ISDN to retest its recent carved out bottom at bottom of 0.62.

Breaking below 0.62 will prompt technical selling to test downside of End Weekly Intermediate Support Close at 0.54.

Due diligence is warranted.

AEM once again experienced a sell down today with overall tech sectors bearing the brunt of AEM' s fall affecting ISDN as well to test a low of 0.655 before closing weaker at 0.66 in the face of  more Shortists' sales of 924,000 shares compared to yesterday' s  Shortists' sales of 761,500 shares.

As long as ISDN does not violate its Daily Pivot Support Close at 0.645 followed by a breakdown below its recent carved out bottom of 0.62, ISDN may still have the potential to reclaim its Short Term Uptrend in due course viewing its Intermediate/Long Term Pivot Support Closes are still providing strong layers of support at 0.54/0.47 technically respectively.

But breaking below 0.62 convincingly, ISDN may have the potential to grind down lower but presently its Daily STOCHASTIC/RSI  almost  reaching ' 0' oversold zone portending a potential  Short Term rebound any day soon.

Due diligence warranted.

Full of bullshit excuses hahaha.. when not doing well, it' s other' s fault. When AeM was surging by the folds, why was this a sleeping ant?

The grinding down of AEM  today has dragged down ISDN as well to close weaker at 0.67 compared to yesterday' s close at 0.69 perpetuated by Shortists' depressing the market with 761,500 shares sale compared to yesterday' s Shortists'   sales of 823,500 shares.

As long as ISDN Daily Price Action does not violate its Short Term Pivot Support at 0.65 followed by its recent carved out bottom at 0.62, ISDN may still have a potential to stage a Short Term  Rebound higher in due course.

Violating its aforesaid 2 layers of  Supports  at 0.65 and 0.62 respectively, ISDN may have the potential to grind down lower.

best advice is  not to  cut now? wait till it break 64 then must cut decidedly cos it will definitely drop below 60...
How come only 1 longkuku chirping away here... soon it will dip below 65... take care..
SAC CAPITAL HAS JUST RELEASED THEIR LATEST RESEARCH REPORT  ON ISDN HOLDINGS, TITLED &ldquo RIDING THE HYDROPLANTS AND ELECTRONICS WAVE.&rdquo

Key takeaways for ISDN:

1. SAC is quite bullish

Rating: BUY

Price at report date:

  S$0.70

Target price:

S$1.03 revised from previous of S$0.97.

Implied upside: about 47%.

2. The important part is their earnings forecast

FY2025 FY2026E FY2027E

Revenue S$440.2m S$511.1m S$550.7m

Attributable NP S$6.8m S$21.3m S$25.2m

EPS 1.50¢ 4.71¢ 5.55¢

P/E 46.7x 14.9x 12.7x

SAC expects attributable earnings to more than triple in FY26, followed by another increase in FY27.

3. The two remaining hydro plants are crucial.

SAC says ISDN has already completed 3 mini-hydropower plants, with 2 more scheduled for completion in 2026.

They expect renewable energy to contribute increasingly to gross profit because of its higher margins.

4. Automation is actually the bigger near-term driver.

This is particularly interesting given what Intermediate/Long Term Investors who    have been watching and following the  grand  global
semiconductor super  cycle till date.

SAC notes that:

Robotics & Industrial Automation = 31.8% of the relevant revenue mix.

Semiconductors = 31.4%.

Industrial Automation revenue grew 31.9% YoY in 1H26.

Industrial Automation gross profit grew 33.9% YoY.

So the ISDN story is becoming two engines:

AI/semiconductor/automation recovery + hydro recurring income.

One thing that Intermediate/Long Term Investors would need to  watch carefully:

There is an important distinction between Group Net Profit and Net Profit attributable to ISDN shareholders.

SAC forecasts:

FY26 Group profit: S$31.6m

Attributable to shareholders: S$21.3m

FY27 Group profit: S$37.3m

Attributable: S$25.2m.

This is why the 5.55¢ FY27 EPS figure is particularly important.

At  research  date increase, price around S$0.70 that which  would put ISDN at only about 12.6× FY27 earnings.

This will add  impetus to  the view that this report will potentially strengthen the Intermediate/Longer Term Horizon that will underpin ISDN investment case considerably.

The most important question now is not whether ISDN can reach S$1.03.

It is whether the company can actually deliver the earnings ramp SAC is forecasting.

If the two hydro plants come online as planned and the automation/semiconductor business maintains its 1H26 momentum, then S$0.70 looks substantially less expensive on forward earnings than it appears from historical EPS.

Till date,  the market is still valuing ISDN as though a meaningful part of this earnings recovery has not yet been fully proven.

From the above perspectives, a Dip Buying Strategy in the Short Term by Strong Hands Investors willing to navigate  any Short Term  Volatilities as long as its Short Term Pivot Support Close at 0.65 followed  by its recent carved out bottom at 0.62 are not violated as its Intermediate/Long Term Pivot Support Closes are still intact at 0.54 and 0.47 respectively up till now.

Due diligence warranted.

ISDN managed to stage a resilient close unchanged at 0.69  today even in the face of  slightly increased  Shortists' Selling of    823,500 shares compared to Friday' s Shortists' Sale of 754,800 shares.

As long as ISDN' s Short Term Daily Price Action does not violate its Daily Pivot Support Close at 0.65 followed by breaking below its recent carved out bottom at 0.62, its price action may have the potential to rebound to retest its previous All Time High between 082 and 0.85 in due course.

Breaking below its above relevant supports, I will turn abit more cautious in the Short Term for a test of its Intermediate Pivot Support Close at 0.54.

In the Long Term Pivot Support Close, its support is located at 0.47.

In the Intermediate/Long Term Market Direction, ISDN still manifesting Uptrend into End FY 2026 because ISDN Mgt has already been steadfast in maintaining  their  views on a " HARVESTING YEAR" in respect of ISDN existing businesses.

Therefore a BUY AND HOLD STRATEGY is still up to date better for choice for Strong Hands Investors to navigate any Short Term Volatilities.

Due diligence warranted.

A) Daily Short Term Pivot Support Close at 0.65.

TECHNICAL SYNOPSIS

ISDN SHORT SELLING DATAS FOR THE WEEK  24TH AUGUST TO
28TH AUGUST  2026

Shortists          Close
1590000 24 0.675
542500    25 0.695
676000    26 0.685
979000    27 0.70
754800    28 0.69

The total short selling was about 4.54 million shares for the five sessions.

The most important observation
24 August is the key day.

Short selling was extremely high at 1.59m shares, yet ISDN closed at $0.675 rather than collapsing below $0.65.

Then, on 25 August, short selling dropped dramatically to only 542.5k, while the share price recovered to $0.695.

That tells me there was strong buying support underneath the short selling.

So despite substantial short activity, ISDN spent most of the week around $0.685&ndash $0.700.

That is not the behaviour I would expect if short sellers were completely in control.

Short sellers have not managed to break $0.67

This is what I find particularly interesting.

The highest short-selling day was 24 August, but the stock subsequently recovered.

And during the week, ISDN tested the $0.66&ndash $0.67 area but did not establish a sustained breakdown.

Historical data also confirms that ISDN traded as low as $0.66 on 25 August before recovering strongly.

So I would currently regard:

$0.66&ndash $0.67 = important support zone

and

$0.70&ndash $0.71 = immediate resistance zone.

What concerns me that the  short selling has not disappeared.

On 27 August, there  was 979k shares shorted, followed by another 754.8k on 28 August.

That means there is still a group actively selling into strength.

But there is an important difference:

They are shorting, but so far they are not achieving a decisive downward move.

That can eventually become uncomfortable for the short sellers if ISDN breaks above $0.70&ndash $0.71 with strong volume.

My interpretation for next week,
I would classify the situation as:

🟢 Medium-term: constructive

🟡 Short-term: neutral to mildly bullish

🔴 Immediate resistance: $0.70&ndash $0.71

My key levels would be:

$0.66&ndash 0.67: strong support

$0.685&ndash 0.69: current consolidation area

$0.70: first important hurdle

$0.71&ndash 0.72: stronger resistance

Above $0.72: technical picture becomes considerably more bullish

Below $0.66: warning that the short sellers may finally be gaining control

My overall view
I would not interpret this week' s 4.54m short-selling volume as a bearish signal by itself.

In fact, I think the price response to the short selling is more important than the absolute short volume.

The strongest evidence is:

1.59m shorts on 24 Aug &rarr stock survived at $0.675.

Then the stock recovered toward $0.70 despite continued short selling.

That suggests buyers are absorbing a significant amount of the selling.

Also, ISDN' s reported market data currently shows the company around $0.695 on 28 August, with a day range of $0.685&ndash $0.710.

Therefore, my bias is that the short sellers are currently an overhang rather than being in full control.

If next week ISDN can take out $0.70, then $0.71, with volume increasing, I would become more bullish because the short sellers could start contributing to the upside through covering.

Conversely, if Daily Pivot Support Close at 0.65 followed by  breaks decisively below most recent carved out bottom at 0.62,  I would change my view and become much more cautious.

Due diligence warranted.

Even though AEM closed weaker today, ISDN had a resilient close at 0.69 lower than yesterday' s closing price 0.70 in the face of  Shortists'     reduced selling of 754,800  shares against yesterday' s sale of 979,000 shares.

As long as  ISDN does not violate its Daily Pivot Support Close of 0.65 followed by a violation of its recent carved out bottom at 0.62, its Daily Price Action may have potential to retest its previous All Time Highs between 0.82 and 0.85 in due course.

Due diligence warranted.

US AI BUILDOUT  IS STIMULATING THE ECONOMY BY A 3RD PARTY ANALYST

Nvidia' s Q2 earnings report suggests that the AI spending boom is broadening. The company forecast 70% revenue growth next fiscal year, far above Wall Street' s 45% expectation, and said growth would be even stronger if supply constraints were less severe.

Significantly, non-hyperscaler revenue grew 138% y/y, outpacing hyperscaler revenue growth of 102% y/y, as demand broadened beyond mega-cap tech into AI-native startups, sovereign cloud builds, and traditional enterprise IT.

Such a strong outlook from the company at the center of the AI ecosystem is a powerful vote of confidence in the AI spending boom.

As CEO Jensen Huang put it, the " AI infrastructure buildout is at full steam." That suggests AI-related investment should remain a significant tailwind for both economic and earnings growth:

(1) Earnings. AI spending is already showing up broadly in the economy and in earnings. S& P 500 Information Technology forward earnings is up 81.9% y/y, more than double the 36.0% gain for the S& P 500 as a whole. Other sectors tied to the AI buildout (including Industrials, Materials, and Communication Services) are showing robust growth too.

Industry analysts expect the strength to persist, with Information Technology' s long-term earnings growth (LTEG) forecast at 41.7%, well ahead of the S& P 500' s 25.0% (chart). The other AI-related sectors are also expected to show double-digit LTEG in the mid- to high teens.

Even though AEM performance today was weak, ISDN managed to stage a stronger close at 0.70 against yesterday close at 0.685 in the face of a more aggressive Shortists' selling  of
979,700 shares
compared to yesterday  Shortists' sale of  676,000 shares.

As long as ISDN' s Daily Short Term Pivot Close at 0.65 is not violated, its daily Price Action has the potential to grind up much higher.

Due diligence be warranted.
